Hello there and welcome. Before i start i would like to say that this is NOT a topic to try and gain new members to the supergroup (although it would be nice), this is a topic to show the new annual event that is being held in Union - Atlas park, everynight from 9pm onwards (although some nights we will start earlier than planned but will always finish late).
The Cruise started on sunday night as an expirement to try and entice a large number of people to atlas park where they can chill out, meet new people/new friends and be part of an environment which is friendly and open to all.
Now we have had a couple of people saying to us that we dont have the right to do this since people have been meeting under atlas since the game started. Now this is all true and valid, however it came to our attention that people were only talking to people they knew and that it wasnt really a good place for new people to meet new friends (and also it wasnt really that busy at a certain time - apart from planned events like cossie comps).
Now since we started this sunday night, we have run it everynight for a minimum of 3 hours eachtime. We have had only VERY possitive feedback about it so far as a lot of people have made new friends and had genuine good clean fun There is no limit to what kinds of people are allowed and anyone is welcome, we try and entice random players in and it usually ends up being a big turnout
I will be posting screenshots that i have taken over the last few nights and will try get a good screenshot when the crowd is at its peak (since all mys screenshots have been at about 1am when we'r all ready for bed).
We will eventually be holding "cruise special events" in the notsofar future, these will include "dude/dudet" cossie comps, most original name, possibly a standup hero comedy show and maybe even a couple of dance circles.
So could anyone whos been to the cruise so far post their comments/screenshots as all views are taken into account, whether possitive or negative.
For anyone thats not been to one yet . . . . . be there Atlas Park, under atlas, everynight from 9pm.
