He's back! (Magazine Article by James Holt)
Devious vigilante. He always was, and always will be. DOWN YOU EVIL VILLIAN!!!
(If anyone tunes in to the radio around 7:40pm tonight (23/07/07) they might catch the following bit of news.)
*sounds of sirens in the background and the cheers of a gathered crowd*
Reporter - "...This is Dani Lee reporting from Steel Canyon where we have just witnessed the rescue of workers from a construction site turned deathtrap as a large gang of Freakshow ran rampant through downtown, destroying anything in their path.
Their rescuer was non other than the Awesome Inago who bounded up girders and cranes to carry the stranded men to safety. He managed to save all seven of them before the unfinished structure collapsed into a spectacular pile of twisted metal and rubble.
Several other heroes arrived on the scene to chase down and dispatch the Freaks. This group included the new Steel Guard, Starfall and several other as of yet unknowns. They were shortly joined by Inago who had left the builders with paramedics.
At this current time the PPD are wrapping things up... oh wait! Here's Inago now! Inago! A moment of your time please!"
Inago - "Nani?"
Reporter - "Dani Lee, reporter for Canyon Radio. Could I give you a quick interview?"
Inago - "Oh... Sure. Konbanwa Lee-san."
Reporter - "Thanks so much! So... that was an amazing heroic display there, but what we are dying to know is where have you been for the last few months?"
Inago - "Away... Can't really give more as it could affect others. Sorry..."
Reporter - "I see... then how does it feel to be back?"
Inago - "Great! Paragon is my home and I love being here."
Reporter - "What do you have to say about these rumors that you have been eliminating crime by killing the criminals?"
Inago - "Bakana... it's lies."
Reporter - "So you deny any involvement with the deaths of several mob bosses and troupes of Carnies?"
Inago - "Hai."
Reporter - "Okay... We know that the Cirque de la Lune are bitter enemies of the Carnival of Shadows, would any of your 'family' have had anything to do with these murders?"
Inago - *snaps at the reporter* "Kono-yaro!"
Reporter "I won't push any more, all I was after was the truth."
Inago - "I'm outta here."
Reporter - "Wait... don't go! Just one more question please?"
Inago - *growls* "Shinjimae!"
*The crowd cheers loudly once more before dying down*
Reporter - "Well there he goes. Was he trying to hide something or was he telling the truth? I guess only time will tell. Dani Lee signing out."
Amaya grows to herself, how **Dare** they gather outside her shabby little hotel room and have the audacity to shout in at her about the cirque and the carnivale.
She hugs her knees closer to herself as she hides in the corner between the far side of the bed and the wall, half mask in hands. She'd been so careful even when wearing her master's colours not to attract any attention, now somehow they knew her and what she meant. A solid link between the Cirque and the Carnivale of Shadows.. not that that was Jest Er's fault.. or any of them.
She looks around, the mnd was still there somewhere and yet she couldn't call out for anyone, not since the master had left her on her own again. But if Inago and others were back.. perhaps the Master was coming back too.. she'd have to get to the base first.. without having to cut her way through the crowd outside her room. She'd have to let herself use the shadows again.

((News report on Channel 7 News at various points during the day.))
"...That's right Kent, i'm here reporting from a gruesome scene at City Hall where a hero has been murdered. The hero in question is Hypnogram and his body was discovered by security guards in the MAGI vault in the early hours of the morning. A priceless artifact was also stolen. It looks like that even with the majority of the Rikti contained, this city still has problems as always."
"A source has told us that security footage taken shows Inago entering the building through a side window and sneaking down to the vault itself. Yes, you heard correctly... The young hero is the prime suspect in this murder and Longbow have issued a warrant for his arrest."
"Rumor has it that Hypnogram may have had contacts within the Circle of Thorns and may have also been working for them as a spy. We have attempted to secure an interview with Azuria but have as of yet been unsuccessful. There has also been no comment as to the details of the stolen artifact."
"News of this murder comes just a day after there were reports of Inago rampaging across town and slaughtering gangs of Hellions, Skulls, Tsoo and even the Carnival of Shadows. He seems to be targeting magic orientated groups."
"PPD are calling for witnesses of the crimes. The contact number for them is on your screen now."
"That's all from me. David Lane, reporting for Channel 7 News. Now back to the studio."
It's official! Inago is back in Paragon City! There have been many reports and sightings of this young hero over the past couple of days. Where has he been? No-one seems to know for sure. Many had presumed him either dead or retired, however there have been rumors of him fighting battles through other dimensions. His return has also heralded the arrival of various other members of the controversial Cirque de la Lune and an increase in their activities. Throughout their history the Cirque have only really appeared in the cities most desperate hours. Is this a sign that bad times are ahead?
Very little is known about Inago's history. He was born and raised in Japan, where he helped to fight in the Rikti war as a child. He arrived in Paragon on October 20th, 2005 and was a well known sight until his disappearance nearly 7 months ago. A veteran of at least 2 wars, he has defended the city time and time again. A few of his most recognizable feats include successfully leading a force against Requiem forces in Perez Park during the Requiem war, the arrest of several of powerful crime lords, the defeat of a covert Rikti commander, and the closing of several dimensional rifts.
The name Inago comes from his insectoid image and derives from the Japanese word for grasshopper. He is an excellent martial artist who utilizes a unique style of the same name. Even though his strength is said to be magic based, there has never been any actual confirmation of this from him.
Although far from being one of the most powerful heroes of our time, Inago has achieved so much and gained the respect of many. His tenacity and dedication more than make up for his lack of power. So far we have been unable to get an interview, however we managed to approach Coile of the Silent Tempest and ask him what he thought of Inago's return. He said "He always did good work. The city's safer for him returning.".
Unfortunately there have been some vicious rumors spreading that claim the young hero to be involved in a plot to purge the city of evil through any means possible. He could have already been involved in the deaths of countless criminals. Whilst some welcome this kind of vigilantism it is still against the law and a breach of human rights. There is actually no conclusive proof that Inago has had anything to do with this and such accusations could damage his career.
What is your opinion of the Awesome Inago? A brave hero or a devious vigilante?
