Great!, reminds me of a lizard-like villain I saw on Toonami, can't for the life of me remember who it was though.

Nice toon.

But I challenge you to draw him now!

**Updated... Again** See Swissy's post. (Post #1 has been updated also)

Now with Background and sourcelight!

I would like to point out to everyone that no colour remains from my original screenshot, The whole thing was taken down to only 2 colours. Pure Black, and Pure White. I then removed the white to an Alpha channel and the whole thing including greyscale and colour was then built from the ground up... For those who are curious, here is what I started with after that process. A monumental task if I do say so myself . Hope you like the new improved one I've spent another half hour getting right (I hope... please criticize as you see fit)

In a way, Swissy this was just like drawing him, as, when I pulled it down to just black on Alpha most of him dissapeared and I had to almost re-draw his whole body. (see above link) I'm glad with how he has come out sofar... but it's 20mins past 1 and I might be a little sleepy

PS: Just incase you're wondering Crocodyle is a Super Strength Invulnerability Brute.

For the record, I wasn't criticizing but thinking more of "pushing" you to have a go at creating your toon from scratch. I'm not trying to take away the time you spent on this at all.

>>>this was just like drawing him
I get you 100%.

I know we all have our different ideas of creativity so whatever floats your boat really. As long as you have fun ^^

Nah, I didn't think you were criticizing Swissy. But I'm not drawing him yet. I'll let some nice poses or enemies for him to be fighting build within my mind first.

What do you think of th highlighting Swissy?

I see no highlighting.

If you're referring to the colours added to the B&W canvas then yes, it looks nice. It looks like a cut-out screenshot with a bit of a drop shadow in the back.

If you're referring to the light source, then I'd say I wouldn't agree with it. Why? because the shadow on the arm and his right leg suggests that the light came from his right back (3/4 behind him) and you added shadows on the back of the trench coat. Also some lighter tones have been casted on his knees and left leg thus creating a new light source, but without a background, it's hard to tell.

The creases on the chest have a nice grey/blue tone but losses itself in the gradient backdrop.

What get's my attention though, is his belt buckle. Nice texture work. I really has a nice shiny, metal effect!

Oh the belt buckle Non-Metalic-Metal effect..? yeah that was a complete accident . That's not what I was trying to do with it but after a while I gave up and asked someone else what they thought. They told me it was one of the best metal effects they had seen me do... so I didn't argue

I see what you mean about the inside of the Trenchcoat. I'll rectify that at a later date if I ever update it again. Thanks for pointing that out.
Edit: Did it
