Cold damage is not that common in PvE and the Red Coralax is not too great either. So, yes, I wouldn´t recommend this set if not for concept reasons.

Ghost Widow: Again not too keen on the armor or pet (just looks ridiculous imo and doesn't seem that great performer), but the hold would once again help me stacking holds and damage drain would be nice aswell and I also heard the powers have -acc.

The armour has it´s use and a mezzing pet is always nice to have. Plus, Ghost Widow has the great Soul Drain and the coolest looking Hold in the game. Yes, one of my corruptors loves this pool to death... no pun intended.

Pardon me??? Electric Shackles is a Hold and no Immob. Overall this is a very good set, especially if you need an endurance drain.

Black Scorpion: Already have this on my other corruptor, like the shield and aoe immob is nice thing to have, plus there's a hold and decent pet, but I'd want to try a new patron. Plus there's a draw-time.

Well, since you have already tried this set I would say it´s a decision between Ghost Widow and Scirocco. Judging by your powersets I would say that Ghost Widow fits the concept, but basically you can´t go wrong if you take one of those two.
If it has eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.
I'm having hard time deciding which patron to pick for my AR/dark corruptor, I'm not sure which one of them would suit me best.
