In the previous chapter we covered the origins and fall of Mary Raynard who was to become the Villianess Ms Behave, in this chapter we cover her older sister, Lisa Kayne.

Lisa looked at the prototype suit with a tear in her eyes, this was what Mary sacrifed herself for, body, mind and spirit, she was angry, at herself, at Mary, at the corruption that allowed people like Senator Bones to get away with things like that. It cut deep that Mary gave up her honour, her sanity and her morals for this thing, in her mind, Mary was a true hero, heroes lay down their lives daily, but that's their lives, how many would give up much more then just their physical lives for people?

Lisa recalled the last conversation she had with Mary.

'How's the suit?' Mary asked, her arms hugged around her as she seemed to do a lot these days.

'Pretty good, all the tests are coming back positive, there is still the factor over the kenetic distribution of impact that can't be solved, the suit can deflect all sorts of damage easily and it doesn't hurt as much, but it still hurts, and in prolonged combat you're entire body would be plum coloured, for the odd bullet or punch you'd hardly feel it though.' Lisa said and then turned to Mary, noticing her tears. 'Mary?'

'Lisa... you know who I said the Senator was really intrested in your proposals?' Mary started... 'He wasn't'

'But the funding?' Lisa started.

'I paid for that suit...'

'But how? you've no money, the Senator himself wrote me out ...the...ohh gods...' Lisa clamped a hand over her mouth as she saw Mary's face, 'Mary no, you didn't have to... we would have found a way.'

'Not quick enough, there are more important things then personal comfort and well being, so what if some dirty old sleeze has his way with me, at least a greater good will come of it.'

'This is all my fault, if I hadn't made such a big deal out of this...' she started before Mary slaped her across the face.

'NO! don't talk like that, you're brilliant, you've got talents I could never dream of having, grandmother wanted us to save the world yeah? That suit when given to the right heroes will save the world, sometimes sacrifices have to be made for a greater purpose, but you're not a hero if you're unprepaired to BE that sacrifice. Lisa, I don't know how much longer I can hold it together, this project is what kept me from going mad ages ago, complete it and everything will be worth while.'

'Mary...' Lisa closed her eyes and hugged her sister 'You don't have to do that anymore, we're at a stage we need no more money.'

Mary broke the hug and smiled tearfully at her sister, 'I think it's gone too far, if I try to get away now god knows what will happen.'

She turned the lights out in the lab and headed to her office; halfway up the stairs she paused to some rather odd sounds coming from a room off the corridor. 'Odd' she thought, 'No one here but me and the cleaning staff at this hour.' She walked to the room and opened the door, her face dropping and her heart shattering.

'WHAT THE F--- IS GOING ON HERE?!' she exclaimed as she found her husband and a mysterious woman against the wall, caughts quite litterally pants down. The man and woman, startled started to stammer and comments like 'it was an accident' and 'it just happened'

Lisa narrowed her eyes, 'Save it, I want you out of my offices and out of my life, I'll have my lawyers write up divorce papers in the morning.

'B..but love'

'Don't love me you whining sack of garbage, I took my back last time this happened more fool me, I want you out of my life.'

Lisa stormed out, fuming to herself, as she left the building a couple or members of The Council were harrassing her staff, already in a rage she pulled out her newest invention prototype, a glove that fired an arc of electricity at a designated target and slipped them on. She took aim at a less then heroic place to hit a guy and fired. She felt good, it felt good, after helping the police with a few statements she headed home, costume designed flying through her mind, she would be a hero too.
