consume how good?
A heavy firetanker has quite some toggles running (leapping pool, fighting pool, toggles, heavy blazing aura) and the recharge is not sufficient to keep you full off endurance unless you wont attack at all or very little
Specialy if you get some -recharge on your butty, i would suggest to keep going for stamina. Outside, it has a tohit check, if it miss.. you wont get any.

cheers so i might as well drop consume when i get stamina then and get taunt instead
Consume is still a awsome panic button, when you run low of end it helps greatly. And additionaly its a nice aoe-gauntlet power :P

I have hastened consume and have skipped stamina with it. Hastened consume for me is roughly every 67 secs to get a full end bar on its own if used on 3 or more which works out to be 1.49 eps and add that to base end recovery of 1.67 eps and its about 3.16 eps. Base end recovery + stamina is just 2.49 eps roughly. If worried about being tohit debuffed then build up helps and if -rechgd then buy yaself time somehow, you could just as easily be in a sticky situation with stamina anyway. I like to use consume before being too heavily tohit debuffed.
Alot of FTs i see finish up with haste, consume, stamina and conserve energy.

He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
Not to mention that consume causes damage as well. In my opinion, you can never have too much end especially in pvp.
hi i've got a low level fire fire tank i got consume and find it really helps with endurence but can you skip stamina with it or is stamina really needed i have most powers slotted with endurence reductions.any help would be great thanks
