Hi Guys

Trying to plan my first Fire/Fire Brute. Does Fire like my Elec and my Dark brute have any KB/Mez protection in any of it's shields or do i need to go the Jumping way for acrobatics?

I'd rather Air Sup and fly as my travel power but don't want to end up on my behind all the time

Also do Healing Flames usually for a solo PvE player , manage to keep you alive ok or should i factor in Aid Self into build like my Leccy brute?

It has mez protection but no kb or immobilise res. Hense why almost all fire tanks go for leaping (though i'm consistently suprised by the number of fire tanks i see with no kb res)

I'd say for solo healing flames will be more than sufficient. Having no def, aid self will be annoying to use, and i doubt you'd have powerpicks/slots spare. Fighting pool for tough would be more useful. Also hasten to get a really good recharge on HF.

My Fire/Fire Brute is my only Hovering Melee toon and I find it works suprisingly well. Once I got some flight speed enhancements in both hover and swift I found that I could out "run" the toons on foot. Hover gives you pseudo KB protection (you spin in the air), certainly good enough for PvE in my opinion. Not only that but the Fire animations look so cool in Hover.
