Morality, a strange concept, a set of guidelines that are part instict, part environmental and part socialogical. Morality and ethics are things that keep us alive as a species, they are there to stop us destroying ourselves outright, but they are not as ridgid and unbending as instict alone. Morality and Ethics can be ignored, and in some cases, this can be a good thing.
Case 1: Mary Raynard, convicted of stalking, assault, attempted murder, aiding and abetting and attempted blackmail at the age of 17, current whereabouts: Unknown. Known Alias: Ms Behave.
Our story opens 100 years ago, with the first heroine to weild 'Raydaen' the mystical sword that would found a long line of heroines. Alexandria Raynard was the first, the sword forged in magic by her hands, the ever growing corruption in her home city giving her cause for concern for the safety of her two year old daughter Sarah Raynard. During the day she was a wealthy wife of an industrialist, but by night she was The Vixen Sentinal, herself and her sword fighting for a better future. When Sarah was 16 in 1924 her mother and the sword vanished from the face of the earth. Presuming her dead Sarah had a rather normal sword forged and trained long and hard, becoming the Vulpine Blade, fighitng crime until she married and bore a daughter of her own, Sophie Smith in 1930, Sophie was raised on stories of her grandmother and her mother's exploits until World War 2 broke out. At the age of 12 Sophie saw her mother killed by the 9th Column, the blood soaked sword falling by her feet as she hid away, this would be the event that forged the Avenging Fox. Retaking her mother's Maiden name of Raynard she fled across the sea to Paragon City, here she became one of the first of a new line of heroes in a city of heroes...
But her past would catch up to her, in 1965 at the age of 35 she gave birth to Alexandria Raynard II, unknown to her, the childs father was a member of the very organization that killed her mother, the 9th Column. Alexandria did not take on her mother's legacy but instead became a reserch scientist, in 1980 she married Richard Kayne and bore him a daughter, Lisa Kayne in 1985 and another one Mary Kayne in 1988.
The year is 2004 Mary Kayne was now Mary Raynard, having agreed to her dying grandmother's last wish of continuing the legacy, Lisa Kayne, her older sister agreed too, and thus was forged Galactic Edge and The Avenging Fox.
Lisa: "Are you sure you won't wear the armour?"
Mary: "It's too restricting, how can I fight crime wrapped up in that thing?"
Lisa: "Well All I need is some funding and I can use more advanced polymers."
Mary: "maybe this will help? Remember that prize I won? Apparently this Senitor is throwing a party in my honour, I could try and sell your idea to him if you like."
Lisa: "Thanks squirt." She smiled to her younger sister as she got ready for her big night, "I've got a feeling, both our lives are going to change real soon."
Later that night, at the mansion of Senitor Bones.
Mary: "Umm, Mr Senitor? I thought you said this was a party?" she asked nervously as she entered the dimly lit drawing room."
Senitor Bones: "No my dear, I invited you to a celebration of your award."
Mary couldn't fault that, it was word for word what he'd said, she nodded, alarm bells ringing in her head to get out of this place now, but he was a Senitor in Paragon City of all places, he was safe right?... right?
Senitor Bones: Come, sit, I hear you have a proposal from your sister about this new reserch of hers?
Mary blinked, boy but this guy was well connected intelligence wise, she nodded sheepishly and sipped her orange juice, he had offered her something stronger, but Mary never developed a taste for alcohol, besides whiskey oddly enough, and she felt a clear head was a very good thing to have here. She couldn't help feeling though, something was wrong, with each sip she was feeling, strange. This guy was nothing to look at, sure he was polite enough, but something about him repulsed her, and yet, she was having trouble sitting comfortably.
Mary: "Umm yes, she says this new alloy will be as thin, soft and flexable as silk but will distribute impact like reenforced titanium and deflect things like knives and bullets perfectly." she squirmed, -Damn, he's drugged me, I just know it, I gotta get out of here.- she thoughts. "Umm, you know what, I don't mean to sounds ungrateful and all, but I have a huge book report tomorrow and... eeee" Mary stopped still, looking like a frightened rabbit, his hand was on her upper thigh.
Senitor Bones: "Well that's a shame, I was going to offer your sister that funding, but I'm not sure I should now, it is rather rude to skip out on someone mid-conversation." his hand rubbed lewdly at her as she screwed up her eyes in disgust and fear. "So I'll tell you what, let's work on an apology and we'll see about that funding..."

6 months later...
"It'll be our secret."
Mary Raynard's eyes shot open, she'd fallen asleep in class again.
"Miss Reynard? Are you alright? You're crying." Her teacher asked concerned.
"Y.. Ye- No.. No I'm not, Can I be excused please?"
Her Teacher frowned but nodded, Mary ran out and headed to the councellors office, and stopped dead... 'he' came out, smirking in his repulsive way as he caught her eye.
"Miss Raynard, I'd like to see you in my office." The councellor said sternly.
No, no no no he'd gotten to him too. Mary felt the world fall down all around her as she strode cautiously into the office.
"I've just been having an interesting talk with the senitor there, it appears you've been calling him up and following him around, is there something you'd like to tell me?"
Mary stared into the middle distance and sighed, "What point would there be?"
"You see it isn't healthy for a young girl to get this obsessive over a married, middle aged man."
Mary chuckled grimly and looked down, "Then tell him to stop picking me up from martial art's practice, tell him to stop pawing me about like some meat."
"Now that's a very serious thing you're saying there, such accusations shouldn't be thrown around lightly."
Mary saw the brown envelop on the desk and caught the counsellors eyes.
"I see..." She locked her glare on him and stood up. "How much is in there eh? How much is my life worth? 100? 1000?"
"I don't like the..."
"The what?! The fact you're as corrupt and dirty as everyone else in this town? the fact that it takes thousands of superpowered men and women just to keep some semblence of order?! Well don't worry, and tell him not to worry either, I won't be a problem much longer..."

Hours later at Practice...
"Mary Reynard?" A voice called to her, the young girl turned around puzzled and somewhat frightened, her fears were confirmed.
"Y...yes?"
"Mary Raynard, I hearby place you under arrest for the blackmail of Senitor Bones and for suspected mental health concerns raised by you teachers."
"No, no why are you doing this to me?!"
"Please come quiet-ly? Where did she go?!"
Mary had slunk into the shadows and made her way towards the door, as she passed the treshold she was spotted.
"Freeze!" One officer said as he raised his gun.
"I'm unarmed, what are you going to do? shoot an unarmed normal 17 year old?" She hissed viciously, he lowered his gun and stepped towards her.
"You have the right to remain- Urk!" The officer dropped like a rag as Mary kicked him in the stomach. The officer inside tried to grab her from behind and ended up with a foot in the groin.
"Stop her!!" A cry came as she started lashing out left and right at the officers, her martial art's training coming into it's fullest.
"That's enough!" A call came as a hero landed near her.
"NO!, I'm sick of this town, I'm sick of people not seeing the true crime, I hate you, I hate you all!" She screamed as she punched the hero square in the throat, catching him by suprise as he dropped to his knees, a kick to the head set his teleporter off.
"Gotta get out of here..." Mary paniced and ran round the corner into a group of Skulls. "Oh no, this is the last thing I needed."
"Chill girl, we saw what you just did, nice moves." The leader chuckled as he grabbed her hand and the group ran to a nearby warehouse.
"So what was that all about?" He asked after the group reached the safety of gaurded building.
Mary related her story to him, how at the age of 16 she had won this grand prize at school and how this Senitor Bones had taken a shine to her, how over the past 6 months he'd pick her up from wherever she was and how he appeared to have claws in ever aspect of her life, how he'd suddenly put into action a plan to discredit her as she had slowly started to break down and was beginning to be a threat to him, how this morning everything had come to a head with the school councellor.
"Man, and I thought we were a peice o' work." he chuckled, "Look babe, you won't get that here, you're safe with us, well kinda we are the bad guys after all."
"Yeah, I was wondering why you being all nice with me."
"Simple, anyone who wails on the cops and a hero like that is ok in our book, just don't get any ideas of getting all morally responsable and..."
"CLOAK!!!" A cry came out, a hero had infiltrated the base.
"I'm not going back there..." Mary said as she leapt into the shadows.
"That's the spirit girl, show them how you can really misbehave."
"Misbehave..." Mary thought to herself, "yeah... I can Misbehave."
In the dark part of the warehouse was a crate of clothes headed for Icon, Mary opened it and quickly changed, chuckling to herself before headed off.
"I know you're in here Miss Reynard, your parents are worried about you."
"Worried?" Mary said from the shadows, "They were getting paid off to let that creep maul me, they can go to hell, infact all of Paragon can go to hell."
"You don't mean that, you're just in shock, the police handled things badly they know that now."
"Not at all, infact..." Mary appeared behind the hero and placed her elbow square into his back. "I think they handled things just fine..."
"Uggh!" The Hero spun around to retaliate, missing the shorter girl as she ducked. "Who do you think you are dressing up as a hero girl, you're far from heroic beating up police officers."
"Oh, I'm no hero... call me... Ms. Behave, Boys if you would." She said as the Skulls opened fire at the Hero.
