The plays the thing!

This is just a mad idea i had whilst getting lost in perez park(as usual) and stumbling accross the small ampitheatre thats situated near gaimon woods. Why not produce and stage a CoH play, It could either be a well known piece or even something written for the event.

I believe that for this to work a lot of time would have to be invested. However, the idea is in its early stages and i've looked at some of the rudimentaries

1, costumes would have to be designed, via character creation and a list given to the cast detailing what to wear. i may even be able to get donations going if they don't have enough inf(i wouldnt want people giving up free costume changes for nothing)

2, we have one advantage over real actors in the fact that we could be typing our next line as someone else 'speaks'

3, Keeping in mind that we have a large amount of emotes at hand and seeing how roleplayers use "/e gives a shrug" we could really get some emotion accross. I am in no way saying that we tackle Hamlet or the like

4, Props are limited, only an array of katanas, spines and other powers with a physical manifestation( i am aware some require enemies to work) or emote items such as hotdogs and demo signs.

5, copyright! i don't particularly want to pay samuel french any money so we are looking at things over fifty years old(I believe, correct me if i'm wrong) or coming back to having original material.

This idea is in its infancy and depending on feedback and other suggestions(please!) will depend on this idea being taken forward. thanks.

will proceed with a one man production, if you are interested there is another thread which i started in general discussion called "i'll start again" on the 18 dec 2006. it details some pros and cons to this as well as good constructive crit and support from many such as silver weasel, myopic aardvark and fire guardian( apologies to those i haven't mentioned). Unfortunately i wasn't aware of the forum rules about cross posting so it has been locked. i plan to carry this on as the update diary of my 'production'.
