Just off the top of my head of what I think'd work, included gang war in there as an alpha taker, so you're still "The big man", took mace mastery for the defence shield, and this looks like a generally nice build. I should try a blastermind on my thugs/dark sometime...
I tend to find on my defender (lvl 43) that ss+stealth is not always enough, does ss+invis give better hiding ability vs such things as snipers or rikti drones?

Yes, but you need to drop invis to attack. Although Im not sure exactly how much do you need to avoid rikti drones since those have seen my stalker even..
I have tried stalker´s Hide + Stealth against Rikti drones. Didn´t work. Since this is way over the stealth cap of any non-stalker AT a MM will be seen by them anytime.
Talking about stealth cap: It is highly unlikely that you will find a situation (in PvE) where you notice a difference between SS+Stealth and SS+Invis.
If it has eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.
Alright ladies and gentlemen, I'm trying out a Blastermind on defiant at the moment, using pistols/traps. He is currently lvl 8 and am having a lot of fun, although can't take on anything tougher than villainous yet. Anyway i planned my build and would appreciate some advice :P
