SS/Stone, here we go again, critique my build

Aerys

After changing my mind about six thousand times about my build, here's what appears as the final one. The order in which powers are listed doesn't reflect the actual order of them being taken in game, mind you, same for the levels at which they're slotted.
Slots themselves are what I have in mind though.

Atm the brute is 36, should hit 37 tonight and then the probably seemingly unending crawl to Granite this weekend

Taking BS as patron, mainly for the Web Grenade, which lets me avoid taking Hurl. Previously had it, spec'd out of it. Would have liked Mako better as patron, but its hold needing the target to be already on the ground sort of negates my point

No pvp planned at all with this char either.

The thinking behind the EndRed / Rchg slotting on attacks post granite is to be able to fire off the low hitters as often as possible to build fury without eating too much end, and then firing off the big hitters (FS and KO) to get nice numbers *grin*

I was initially planning to put an EndRed in KO instead of the 3rd dmg, but by now I'm really used to the 900+ hits

So are ya 50 yet? :P
You have no time to think about the build or making cossies, just go man go!

SS powers looks same slotted like mine basicly so you know you're golden there :P
I got another acc in them for pvp which isnt an issue for you.

Like you said, hit the little attacks as often as possible to build fury and then finish with a great big finale in KO blow. So nice with a power that has such a fitting name

Begin stuck at work usually leads to me thinking about builds

And you'll want a new cossie too once you see what I've done with Aerys, Val and Mount

Btw, bored of your scrapper yet ? you know you want to level a brute !

Hey,

Nice choice of powersets :-) SS rocks and SA is kinde cool 2

The way I see it a stoner can be played in 2 ways :
a) Pre-Granite
b) Post Granite

Since my SM/SA brute is lvl46 atm, I'll only comment the Post-GA build. I respected my toon in a GA-build when turning lvl38.
The problem with GA (certainly when rooted) is the speed, but we gain indestructable statistics Just make sure U have some kinetics in your friends list

My build is posted here if Ur interested to have a look :
Evil Jimmy Build

My build has been modified to cap the S/L, and I never regretted it cause over 80% of all damage is S/L in the game :-) So I picked up tough on the way, and stone skin.

Have fun and enjoy the smashing days :-)

Sounds more like you need me to level a kinetics and not a brute

Scrapper itself is very fun but the grind is somewhat dull, specially since I grinded like mad 40-50 with the MM.
Got bored after just half a level last night and spent about 4 hours in sirens instead

Gotta focus though.. I want that kheld now

Grinding is never fun, but teaming with your friends and testing new toons/builds is

Like I already have told you 15 times, just wait for khelds to be available in CoV, shouldn't be that long

And yeah, roll an ice/kin corr *grin*

GRANITE ! GRANITE ! GRANITE ! GRANITE !

Love the "boom boom boom" when you run

Well, after toying around a bit with Granite, here are my first impressions for anyone who cares

First of all, it rocks
It's really not as slow as ppl make it seem out to be, l2slot people, even with only one slot in swiftness, the run speed is totally bearable, ofc TP helps for long distances, especially since you don't get the hover effect, which is actually quite nice.

If you turn rooted on though, then you'd better look for a /kin to team with you, that's true. So far I haven't needed rooted at all while in Granite, and against AV's/Heroes this shouldn't be a problem, they don't move that much, and mud pots keeps them in place anyway.

As for the -dmg on it, I did notice a difference, but thanks to Rage it's really not that bad. Besides, fury builds up reaaaally fast when you have a zillion mobs on you trying to hit you

All in all, so far Granite is awesome, can't wait to six slot it.

Oh, and running while in Granite in a small hall = teh win.
