Aye, what FFM said. Kheldians are energy-based life forms able to bond with material life forms as a symbiote/parasite (in the case of Nictus trying forced possession, a la Moonfire Task Force and one of the Kheldian Story Arcs.)

As Human evolution is complicated so too is Kheldian, however the two species could not be more alien to each other in comparison. For one Human biology is Carbon based, the structure of cells and the like while Kheldian is silicone based.
Early Kheldian Evolution probably came about with small bacteria with a silcone-dioxide based skeleton like the protozoa radiolaria, which by our estimates would of gathered together forming crystiline stuctures from the mineral skeletons that the protozoa Radiolaria posesses.
However for this to happen the planet of origin must of had an extreme temprature since silicone atoms do not bond easily and arcording to the peacebringers, The origional Kheldian homeworld was destroyed aprox 32 million years ago.
