Not if you've sensibly got space for them - and by sensibly I mean you don't have to skip any important powers to get them.
I often take SS as my Lv49 power on toons for the simple reason that a) I've usually got Hasten already, b) I don't have anything else that I really want to take and c) It doesn't need to have any extra slots spent on it.

I'd say superb jumping and hasten to start with.
Then make yourself the best damn Invun tanker.
Then get speedy at 49.

Just a quick post to ask one question:
Is getting two travel powers a waste?
I have an Invuln/ss and the more I think about it the more I want to get both ss and sj. However, the only reason I'm thinking of this is purely from a character perspective (I feel that my toon should have ss and sj due to his super strength), but I don't want to damage the functionality of my build with it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
