Am i a mind/psy dominator, or an howling chicken?

Oh my god guys...
As object says, i've got a mind/psy dominator...
What the hell is happened to mesmerize and subdue??!!!
I mean... lol why does my dom screams like a chicken, when i cast mesmerize or subdue??!!! It never happened until today..
Well, i've never had subdue since today (just did a respec), but i've always had mesmerize and it never did that stupid sound!!!
Its horrible, im really thinking to delete my dominator for that... i've got a female dominator and that scream is sad as the sonic corruptor's powers are!! stupid if you are a male, unacceptable if you got a gal!!!
Did you notice these new sound effects too?
i really dont get why have they added these new effects... isnt a mind/psy dominator supposed to use his mind to cast? WHY shout like that??!!!plus, the shout is rarely bad and stupid..

I tried new powers on test server, before respec on defiant... neither subdue or mesmerize did that scream, but when i got that on defiant (same day, today)...SURPRISE!!I wanted to cry.... everytimes i cast mesmerize/subdue i feel soooooo stupid... i feel like an howling chicken!!! Im still hoping its a bug and someone is going to fix it... :/

Do you know something about it? Why they added this? its a bug? are they going to fix/change this? (i know test server is more updated than normal servers , and no dominator's screams on test...so......)

I think it's happened with quiet a few controller/dominator powers and it's been reported as a bug and will be fixed in a future patch.

There is this thread which claims to fix the problem - but use at your own risk!

Also, it's been said that using Hover/Fly when using Blind from the Illusion control set, will get rid of the screaming effect, so I assume it will work on the other "screaming" powers.

But as a guaranteed temporary solution, just turn the volume off when you play until they do fix it. It'd be a shame to delete a character just because of the sound of it's powers!

Well, thanks, im not going to delete if they will fix it, but believe me, its really boring.
I'll try that temporary solution, but i suppose it will not affect other players, true? they will still here my chicken voice arent they?

That's correct - they will still hear the sounds.
