Yep ive come across this as well, often get very nasty things my fav was a quantum crey power tank boss,instant death.
Wow, nice, Quantum bosses are certainly a tasty treat and a nice challenge.
I recently started the 30+ Shadowstar Storyarc, with the Infused Freaks. Solo'in a Freak Tank who's newly equipped with slow powers, 2 new ranged attacks, mire, and a new self-heal was definately a surprise 
Huzzah for Kheld content.
i discovered pure evil the other day. nicely doing missions, and was on one of the ones where the only bad guys are 7th gen PPs.
