elec/elec pvp
So I said I would post here and here I am.
1st up I'd like to say that A) ST elec powers have pretty long recharges and B) I'm not actually sure if EndMod enhs increase the amount of end you gain when you attack someone (other than the obvious PS). SO i use recred where I have space as the drain in most of the elec powers is good when stacked, but pretty negligable in terms of whether it's worth slotting (I'll test this with Volt Bolt at some point maybe, he has lots of EndMods kicking about that I don't).
CB, LB, CB and HP swap the endmod for recred
swap the slot in hurdle for one in swift, it will make you faster, you jump high with hurdle and CJ anyway
don't get SS, get SJ asap, elec is as melee as the blasters get, you don't really want to be jousting (i also notice you have no vertical travel until 47, this is gonna be a pain either if building from 1-50 or exemping in zone pvp/rated matches)
zapp, not needed generally (although massively useful if you have it), swapthe range for an intred enh, this will let you snipe from out of aggro range with SJ o and be on your target as your snipe executes.
BU, try and get a ToHit buff in here if at all possible
CJ, dont bother slotting it, 1 jump is enough i find (its only height, not speed anyways, this is why i have 3 in swift)
stimulant, great for duos where the other person has aid self, but less useful I find than aid other, however stimulant is more effective for it's slots than aid other.
thunder strike, swap the endred for a recred, rare that you will have end issues with 1 v 1 and u should never have them 1 v >2 (doesnt cost as much as TF if thats what u were thinking)
aid self i would (and do) slot 3 heal 2 recred 1 intred, if you are in a situation where you need 2 intreds your prolly dead anyway and you want this as often as possible
shocking grasp, whilst it does do great DoT, for PvE you really need this to be 2 acc 3 holdur 1 recred (or 2/2/2) to stack with the other holds, the only time I will put dmg in this is when I get enough dmg/mez and acc/dmg HOs (also dont actually use it in my current build as everything else is more important than a limited (melee) hold)
shocking bolt, again i would slot this 2 acc 3 holdur and 1 recred (or 2/2/2), its recharge its far longer than both TC and SG elec holds, but so its base duration.
charged armour, you don't need endred in this power
Acrobatics is the right slotting, but far far too late.
Comments:
you REALLY need to get tesla cage asap, slot it as i suggest above for holds and it will stack to just about perma hold an even lvl boss without hasten, not having a hold until 38 is really bad for elec imo (once ur 50 u should have no probs holding 9 targets if they are all minions tbh).
not having short circuit in an elec PvP build is pretty wrong, there are so so many ways you can use SC, PvE wise you won't die on heroic with this power available (imo). slot it 1 acc 3 endmod 2 recred
thunderous blast and zapp are 2 of the 1st things i would take out of this build (and did), whilst TB is amazing in PvE and can definately flatten squishies (and has massive drain and -rec), it isnt a power I would put in a chain every 30 seconds, one stylish kill in arena pvp wont win you much, however in zones, it will. zapp, similar situation, in the time u fire zapp you can use CB and LB for around the same end cost and do similar damage and be moving whilst ur buffs are up.
one thing this build is going to be very bad at (barring nukes), is team dmg, elec has rediculous AoE damage and control with good support and imo offers far more than the other big AoE contender, fire. by not having BL you are speeding up you singe target damage (good) but offering less in terms of large teams. note that soloing will be cake with this build.
Voltaic Sentinel... now in PvE this doenst save many lives, although it does save some end, however i find in PvP it makes a huge difference, stacking the end drain and releasing charged bolts without me having to, and allowing me to PS for my end makes it ideal, the extra dmg it offers is almost essential vs high res/regen builds. In PvE i just let it finish ppl off with a sliver of health, not worth the melee power end costs imo, it also keeps bosses end down.
this build is close to mine, but wont play as well at the lower levels or offer so much control in pvp imo, however it will do more upfront dmg, at a great end cost. if you want to get online and do some missions with me that'd be cool. i have the 50 on deviant and the 44 amost identical build on onion.
Plight
This is for pvp, and a friend asked me for help. He is 50 and will mostly do duels. i find the lec nuke very good since it wont drain you if it only hits one target, and it's ranged. I thought the thing that made elec do more damage than energy melee is that melee hold which does a lot of dot damage. Could you help me swop around the slots to fit in more tohitbuffs in aim and build up, and to make this build more usefull in sirens?.

this is what i came up, i feel it's a bit lacking in slots, needs more tohitbuffs in aim and build up, can anyone help me with suggestions pls?
