Solo, I would and did go with Energy Melee/Energy Aura.
On a team, I'd probably go with SS/Dark.

/Energy or /Dark for ghosting, /Stone for tanking mishes. Solo all sets are equally fast (except maybe a granite tank).
Solo I'd say anything with the energy melee set.
In a team fire melee / Stone armour.
