Verandi's given me some strange women to test on. Odd make up, I'd think they were goths except for the really bright clothes. They dont seem to react to the machine the same way everyone else does, and their DNA sure is interesting after the tests. I think I might be able to make something of them. It does seem a bit of a waste though, they're rather attractive after all. Oh finally managed to get the fire more under control, if I suck the air out of the test chamber the risk of fires spreading is nill. Unfortunately this is costing me a lot in test cases, the police seem to be getting suspicious. Aren't there enough villains in Paragon already for them? Why do they keep trying to track me down, I'm doing it for science.

Well I finally got a couple of male test cases. They seemed to hold onto their minds slightly better than the women before, but not enough that I'd be willing to try the experiments on myself yet. No one will miss two homeless guys, I'm helping society be cleaner. Unfortunately the police dont seem to see it that way. I may have to lay low for a while, so its back to the gym for me.

What a new years party, what a collection. Its amazing how many strangers you can draw with offers of free alcohol, now to run some more tests, hopefully before any starve. Verandi doesn't seem to think I need to feed them. She's heartless but efficient, I'll give her that. We make a great team, my brains and her money have us poised on success

I've had enough with the constant vacilations of the dean. I'm determined to try my experiments with or without his consent. Tonight I hit upon the idea source for test subjects. Whilst driving home I happened through the red light district. A rather tired looking lady offered me directions. I will be sure to return to her, she could well lead the way.

Started a new fitness program, I have aching muscles where I didn't know I had muscles, it will all be worth it though. Sold some of the stock from the lab to some "interesting" foreigners. I now have enough to start making the machine, and they now have some interesting chemicals to help them. I stopped by and got directions tonight, I'm starting to build trust with the helpful ladies. It will all be worth it in the end, but now I must go and find a way to get clean.

I know it's been a long time but I've been busy working on the machine. The power supply here isn't ideal, but I am sure I will find a way. The ladies are all very famillier now, one is here tonight and is ready for the first test. She doesn't know that, she's trying to shake off something that someone put in her drink at the moment.

Well that didn't go as planned, it certainly caused a transformation, but she died when the power cut out. I must find a better power source than the wall sockets I suppose. She wont go to waste though, the extension needs some insulating.
1st Sept 1999
Managed to get the machine set up on campus now, the emergency generator is hooked straight up to it so I hope the power doesn't go down. If it does I am sure to be discovered. I plan to bring one of the girls back tomorrow night and I will observe the results of the experiment then.

Out of hospital for the first day of the year, a minor set back, nothing more. If anything it has left me more determined than before. The experiment went to plan, but had some unexpected side effects. It seems something in the process caused her to go insane, or maybe it was her own psychological make up. I will have to test on a wider subject group before I can discern how it will affect me. The inferno I was rescued from was promising if nothing else. I even thanked the lovely lady who flew in, I pity her at heart though, all that power wasted, no ambition. It will be different once I am as super as she is, oh yes there will be a new force.

A loveoly lady named Verandi has put forward funding to my work now, things are moving much smoother now. Still trouble finding a power supply, but she says she can get me a generator. I will wait and see.

I now have a sparkly generator hooked up to my machine, and only a few days of my notice left to work. It seems to have been previously owned by the cage consortium, but a file will remove that in no time. Tonight I plan to find myself a test subject. I dont fancy the helping hands tonight so I'm just going to hit a bar by the university, some of my old students took a shine to me, time to let them know just how experiments should be run.

She kept her santiy at least, but didn't want to be controlled. I did have a gun on hand to quieten her, I must think of a simple way to prevent their attacks. I seem to have the offence mastered but if a bullet ends them so easily there is still work to be done. Maybe another element, maybe something else.
