Will Dom should hit Granite ok, but TK blast has a smashing component, granite will get def to the whole attack from that.

It will, but TK blast is also *the only* attack in Psychic blast that isn't pure Psi damage.

and even tho some sets say they are +res to every EXCEPT psi, well, its gotta be bugged, becuase even with 3 acc +tactics 3 slotted with tohits, u can rarely hit stone brutes/tanks, can forget hitting a forcefield user... etc

Think you might be confusing RES and DEF here. Sets low on resistance take more damage each hit than someone with high resistance. Someone with lower defense takes more hits than someone with high defense. Granite does give +def to all damage types I beleive and that's why you have more trouble hitting them.
