Hey guys,

Ok my second attempt at this whole story writing thing, i was gonna do a second part to my previous sirens call story but i thought na so im gonna start a new 1.... enjoy!

**************************

“No…. this ain’t right corporal! Why should we have to spend the 4th of July on patrol in Bloody Bay! I could be back at home with my family instead of stuck here chasing these wimps!
“One More word out of you Private and The only wimp that’s gonna be chased around here is you! Incase your mask is on too tight you may have noticed, yes it is the 4th of July and yes it is unfair that you and the rest of your hollow-headed platoon are on patrol today but you must get it into your skull that those Villains never take a god-damned holiday! To them the 4th of July is just another day of the year to try and bring us, the forces of good to our knees!” The private gave Corporal Cortez a glum stare, puffed and stood up straight and mumbled,
“Yes sir… Ready for duty… *sigh*”

Even though it was summertime you would never have noticed it here, this place certainly wasn’t Paragon. The air was thick with anguish and on both sides of this place appropriately named “Bloody Bay” Stood the fortresses of good and evil, Freedom base and the Arachnos base. And the 4th of July meant nothing to the forces of evil, independence does not register with Lord Recluse, only does he care for shrouding the free people of Paragon in an eternal darkness and forever encasing Justice in a vault of chaos. And Corporal Cortez and his 64th Longbow infantry rangers were about to be the ones standing between Recluse and his evil schemes.

“Ok Rangers gather up! Now I’m only going to say this once so listen well! I know you don’t want to be here, I don’t want to be here but its orders from the big guy that says more patrols and Task forces have to operate in this area 24/7! But I am glad that you are willing to do your duty to make sure that the air we breathe remains free, the ground we tread is enriched with justice and the lives we lead are honest and true! Now get going to landing pad C, I’ll see you there in a few minutes… now move out!!” Immediately the Platoon sped off, their minds filled with the knowledge their battle-hardened corporal had shared with them. Tagging along on the back line of the band of warriors was Private Jones and Private O’Connor, the “black sheep” of the 64th Rangers. The other troops saw those two as very different from the rest of the Platoon. They had no care for bringing any villains for justice or serving their faction with unshakable loyalty, they treaded the path of defiance and recklessness. They had visited the Military court over charges of disorderly behaviour towards other troops countless times and have been arrested for getting drunk and urinating on the Atlas statue many more times, but the way the war was heading even the biggest cases of grief involving Longbow wouldn’t be taken seriously. Because of the current state of warfare between the two sides tension was mounting, and the desperateness for soldiers showed. Jones and O’Connor were a good example of this.

“Psst…. Jones….. hey! You want to sneak out of this dumb patrol and celebrate the 4th of July in style!” O’Connor smirked at Jones.
“Ok sure why not… Why should we listen to Cortez when we can Celebrate the American tradition American style! Look what I got!” Jones rummaged through his duffle bag and yanked out several fireworks. The two of them crept silently away and hid behind a tank. The other members of the Platoon were still in a daze from Cortez’s little speech to notice the black sheep had gone.

“Wow, that was easy, that’s one thing Cortez is good for, his boring speeches putting the troops morale sky high and their perception down low! Ok now what should we do with these fireworks Jones? Fire em’ at a police drone?”
“Oh no I got a better idea… Hey O’Connor, you still know how to operate a tank from when you were in the U.S Marines?”
“Of Course…. Oh man I know where this is going! Miss Liberty’s going to have our heads shoved on a pike if we steal Longbow Property!”
“Oh ok chicken, I guess we’ll just catch up with the platoon and be vaporised by the Arachnos! Oh well there go the fireworks…” Jones walked over to the edge of the base and was just about to throw the fireworks in the sea when O’Connor grabbed his arm.
“Ok, fine. But you have to take the majority of the blame if we get caught. Just say to the judge you held me hostage!” Jones began to chuckle and pulled out a box of matches from his bag.
“Who said the tank was moving? Get inside and bring the primary weapon online, I’ll attach these lit fireworks to the tank shell!”
“Seriously Jones, you don’t know when to stop do you, all I wanted was to sneak off and laze about and now you want to fire lit fireworks out of a freakin’ tank! You’re nuts! But then again it would be cool to see it.” O’Connor climbed into the tank.
“Just our luck, it’s open!” He hopped inside and brought the weapons online. The tank made a mighty roar and Jones shouted,
“Yo! O’Connor! Fire the shell in 5 seconds! Jones lit the firework, threw it inside the weapon, leaped for cover behind a pile of sandbags and watched in anticipation.
“3….2……1……BANG!” The shell took off at alarming speeds towards the sky with the fireworks attached making a deafening screech. O’ Connor popped his head outside the tank and looked up at the sky in excitement. Suddenly the shell, along with the several fireworks exploded in a flurry of colours. However in the distance they saw an object falling towards the ground like a shot pigeon. Jones and O’Connor looked at each other in severe worry .
“Err Jones, WHAT THE F*** DID WE JUST HIT!” The two of them panicked and ran in separate directions, but within seconds they were cornered by dozens of Longbow. A woman approached them with her sword clenched firmly in her hand.
“You two, you are the most idiotic and reckless so called heroes I have ever come across! Do you even realise what that was you just shot down?” It was the helicopter you were supposed to be on! And it carried my dear friend Corporal Cortez and his brave platoon! And I assure you, if he is dead, you will not see the light of day again!” Miss Liberty looked at the longbow standing beside her and ordered,
“Take them to the cells and dispatch a search and rescue operation! We have a platoon down in enemy lines! All we can do now is pray that those brave men and women survived the crash, this is the last thing we needed today!”

To be continued……

So thats it for now... my hand hurts from all that typing lol! I look forward to your feedback and part 2 should be underway next week!

Part 2 is here!

*********************************************

Hours had passed and the two renegade Longbow were lying on the cold prison cell floor, anxious to know what fate awaited them. Jones staggered to his feet, leaned against the wall and said,
"Argh, how the hell could we have hit our own unit's helicopter! Theres no escape from this one O'connor. I think this is it, they're gonna have us executed.
"Just shut up Jones! It was your freakin' idea you braindead twit!" Just as O'Connor walked over angrily to Jones, fists raised, a loud creak was heard. Miss Liberty and her Longbow Elites marched in, with distinct smirks present on all their faces. Miss Liberty stepped forward.
"Ok you two, you're coming with me." Miss Liberty placed the key in the cell door and ordered them to exit the cell. Jones and O'Connnor were handcuffed and lead to a small, dark room deep underground in the Freedom Base. The two prisoners were sat down and as soon as they did Miss Liberty walked around the table, paused and slammed her fist on the table.
"I hope you realise the seriousness of your crime, now you are going to pay deeply. Even if this means your life's end then so be it! Now as you are already aware your foolishness cost us one of our finest regiments and they are deep in the centre of this location. To extract the survivors, if any, from the crash site is suicide for my troops so thats why you two are going in! No excuses, no failure, no retreat. Understood?" The two of them shook their heads nervously, biting their lips.

It was now 1pm and Private Jones and Private O'Connor were escorted to the edge of hero controlled territory. Tension was mounting as they knew their chances of survival stood very grim. Miss Liberty took one last look at them, turned her back and walked away. A tall, Muscular Longbow Elite lead the two of them to a boat. It was a short journey to the border of No-Man's Land, and as soon as they had arrived the Longbow driver pushed them out of the boat and sped off. Jones looked at O'Connor and shouted,
"Great! Just Great! Now we're going to die a meaningless death! Oh well, might aswell do it with honour. Now Miss Liberty said that the crash site was roughly 600 yards inland, c'mon O'Connor!"
"Hey! Idiot! Miss Liberty did say where it was but she also said that this was suicide! And i don't want to die! I want to live damn it! I want to live!" Just before a brawl broke out between the two disgruntled privates laughter was heard from all around. Suddenly a sharp object flew straight at Jones' leg. He fell to the ground in pain and O'Connor drew his pistol and fired in all directions.
"Come out you B*******! Im not afraid!
"Heh..... Very Well". A huge, metallic figure backed up by several freakish looking minions armed with a vicious array of crude weaponry casually walked over to the stunned troops. The large leader of the freaks stepped forward.
"What's this then... trespassers in my town! Oh happy days! I'll show you how we celebrate the 4th of july hahahahahaha!" Jones cried out in agony, limped over to the freak leader and spat on him.
"Thats what i think of you, scum." The freak leader revealed large blades from his armour and stabbed Jones straight through the chest. O'Connor darted backwards, panicked and fled deeper into the ruined city. Immediately the minions chased O'Connor with a bloodthirsty look on their faces. Just as O'Connor was about to be cornered gunfire followed by a wailing warcry. The freak minions dropped to the ground like raindrops. The freak boss, who was now the prey, retreated into the abyss. O'Connor staggered back to his feet realising who it was who stood before him.
"Cortez....... no......... it can't be! But.. the crash!"
"Never mind about the crash private. I'm just glad you survived the crash. Funny though, i never saw you when the chopper went down. Well I'm glad that you join the few survivors of our Platoon." O'Connor, unsure of whether the Corporal was implying sarcasm or seriousness remained silent. It was then he realised what he had truly done. A majority of his fellow comrades, dead because of his recklessness. A long silence followed by O'Connor collapsing to the floor in tears. Cortez leant down to comfort O'Connor.
"Listen Private. Remember when i said i don't want to be here and you don't want to be here, well all i can say now to that is amen Private. Amen.
"No.... Colonel, you don't understand. The person who shot down the helicopter.. it was me!"
"Huh... no, no it can't be you. Y-You were on the helicopter..... right? Oh how could you! You're the biggest disgrace the Longbow has ever come across! Do you realise the grief you have caused us!" A loud yell was heard behind Cortez. A survivor screamed,
"O'Connor! You killed Jones! I know he wasn't the best of us but that was no excuse for ending his life!" O'Connor, stunned, crawled away from the very angry survivors but before he got too far Cortez stamped on his neck and uttered,
"No escape, no more sneaking off you are going to face the consequences for this one i assure you!" O'Connor, gasping for air stuttered,
"But....But i didn't kill Jones, the helicopter was an accident!". Cortez started to laugh and said sarcastically,
"Suuure, whatever you say.... traitor." An eerie silence covered the wasteland. O'Connor, as doomed as humanly possible was about to bring a new meaning to the term "bad luck".

Ok thats part 2, now I'm gonna wait until a few of you reply with your thoughts and constructive criticism before i go ahead with part 3... I've deliberately left this one on a cliffhanger to keep you interested. Hope you've enjoyed the tale so far! Happy Reading!

Let me guess, o'connor will survive and turn villain and then proceed so slaughter very single one of them and somewhere around he has killed someone important he'll get shot down.
*watches as captain alpha curses and rewrites his script*
Sorry but I like to try and predict things.
I like what you have done so far, not to bad nor cheesy.

Hey Readers Part 3 has arrived! Leave some comments on the thread after u have read it!!

**********************************************

The situation for O'Connor was hopeless. He had lost his companion, shot down his own transport helicopter and not a single survivor believed his story. In his mind, O'Connor knew there was only one thing to do now, die.

A bleak sunset was approaching No-Man's Land and Colonel Cortez and his survivors, cold, hungry and far from their own kind were starting to lose their sanity. However O'Connor kept a straight face. The wounded platoon had been roaming the ruined city for hours and the tension was rising by the minute. One survivor, on the brink of insanity turned to O'Connor, who was at gunpoint and said,
"You..... I know exactly what you are now! Y-You were never one of us! You were always the outcast! You're working for-for him aren't you! The one they call Lord Recluse! VILLAIN SCUM! DIE NOW!" O'Connor, confused and exhausted replied,
"No! I am not working for them! I am like you damn it! I am like you!" Cortez turned around and yelled,
"Hey! Soldier! Quit your complaining and keep moving! We must find some way to get back to base!. But unluckily for us my god damned comm-link is busted! So we have no means of communicating with Freedom Base. Now lets move out, double time!"

Nightfall was upon No-Man's land, and still no trace of hope of ever getting back home. The platoon's morale ws severely low and even the stern mind of Colonel Cortez was starting to fall into halucinations. Tiredness was also starting to kick in, some troops kept falling to their knees and had to be dragged back up again. A deafening roar was heard overhead and Cortez yelled,
"Arachnos transports! Take cover!" The platoon ran for cover anywhere they could find but it was no use, the Arachnos' radar technology spotted them in an instant. They could hear the loud jets gettin nearer when suddenly all became silent. Footsteps followed, then a voice ordered,
"Where are they! Our radar picked up those maggots! Show yourselves!" Cortez, gripping onto his rifle tightly, whispered to the troops behind him,
"Men, we're outnumbered and outgunned, but we will never, ever be broken of our fighting spirit!!" Just at that moment Cortez, followed by his loyal platoon charged the Arachnos without a care for what they're severe numbers would do to them. The Arachnos commander saw the Longbow and wailed,
"Argh! Pathetic heroes! Men! Forward! Slaughter them!". The battle was fierce, but O'Connor was powerless. Cortez took all of his weapons off him after the truth had come out. So in his panic O'Connor ran behind a wall and cowered. All he could hear was cries of pain filling the air, the more gunfire and warcries. Then laughter could be heard, evil laughter.
"Ha! Those heroes did nothing! Looks like we win again!" Cheers were heard from all around but then an Arachnos soldier shouted,
"Hey.. this one ain't dead! Just badly wounded... what should i do commander? kill him?"
"Oh no... take him back to the base.... i want to bring Recluse a little gift. A longbow officer would most please him hahahahahaha!" O'Connor, stunned at what he had heard peeked his head around the corner and saw Cortez handcuffed and being led onto the Arachnos transport. After the transports were gone O'Connor ran to the battleground and saw all of them, all of his platoon.... dead. He collapsed in horror and cried out,
"No! Why! Why does it have to end this way! They did not deserve this! My comrades, dead because of me!" Just as he was about to pick up a blade to end his life a skulking voice whispered in his ear,
"heh, trust me, pathetic Longbow, they are better off dead. But what to do with you?"
"Who said that! Reveal yourself vile scum!"
"Oh i shall my doomed friend" A hiss reigned through O'Connor's ears as a tall, ninja-like being holding a blade stood before him. He walked around O'Connor with his blade drew and said,
"Now what to do with you.... You're helpless, tired and most certainly have not got the will to fight without your so called brave platoon."
"Who are you?"
"I...I am the one they call the chaotic deciever. One of Recluses most feared and deadliest assassins. But my real name is Sirius Cortez."
"Cortez?"
"Heh. Thats right the biological brother of Colonel Cortez. Not that it matters now. He chose to fight for the wrong side. He will be dead in a few hours."
"I don't believe you villain. You are pure evil, you are a manipulative, nasty piece of work." O'Connor reached for his blade but Sirius lunged forward and knocked the blade clean out of his hand.
"Don't you understand, Longbow. You cannot kill me, so you have two options. Fight for us or die!"
"I would rather die than be a slave to that tyrant Recluse"
"Oh no my dear friend. You have it all wrong. Evil is just a state of mind, a personal opinion. We see you heroes as evil, you destroy what we have tried to build. We can never be left a day alone without you heroes getting in the way."
"Because you seek to destroy us!"
"And you seek to destroy us. You see Longbow, We are not so different. We both want domination. So join me and embrace that power! Tell me? How much respect were you given when you successfuly completed a task?"
"Well....."
"You see! Fight for Recluse and every task you do will make you famous! So, my friend, instead of looking at it as treading the path of evil look at it as treading the path of adventure!" O'Connor paused for a moment. Sirius had him right where he wanted him. O'Connor always seeked adventure and he knew that he would most probably be sentenced to death should he return alive to Paragon.
"Yes.... I shall join you. Those heroes, they have manipulated me! They held me back!" O'Connor threw his mask on the floor.
"Excellent. It is settled. You have made a smart choice." Sirius pulled out a comm-link and ordered an Arachnos transport down to their location.

Upon arrival of the transport, the Arachnos were stunned to see a Longbow standing side by side with Recluse's most feared assassin. But the Arachnos were scared of Sirius's power so they remained silent. Sirius ordered,
"Now listen here! This is the new destined one and he is getting on this transport back to mercy island. I want you to suit him up and get him ready to serve under Recluse!" The Arachnos commander nodded without hesitation and the transport set off for the Rouge Isles.

**************************************************

Well.... thats part 3 fellow readers! I hope you're enjoying the story so far! Another cliffhanger lol so yep theres gonna be a part 4! Happy reading!

Ok guys.... part 4 was a little delayed lol i dont even know if people read this so i thought 1 more part and then i'll see if anyone takes interest... if not ah well back to the levelling lol! Ok if you are new to the story and you cannot be bothered to read the previous 3 parts heres a little summary:

2 renegade Longbow, Jones and O'Connor accidentaly blow up their own helicopter due to their reckless idea of celebrating the 4th of July by firing a firework, along with a tank shell out of a tank at Bloody Bay. Miss Liberty, who was in charge of the Bloody Bay operation out of her rage decided to send Jones and O'Connor on a rescue mission to recover the shot down crew and their leader Colonel Cortez. However things took a turn for the worst when Jones was stabbed by a mob of Freakshow and Cortez and his unit, arriving just before the freaks had the chance to kill O'Connor managed to drive away the Freaks and leave O'Connor left to unveil the truth on what really happened to their helicopter. Because of the timing Cortez and the rest of the unit believed that O'Connor had killed Jones out of rage so he was seen as a homicidal maniac. So Cortez decided to take O'Connor prisoner and try and find a way to get back to Freedom Base. They were ambushed a bit later on by Arachnos and only Cortez, who was taken captive and gravely wounded survived. O'Connor survived due to him hiding. Lord Recluse's (Main Villain Guy for those who dont know ) Assassin, the Chaotic Deciever A.K.A Sirius Cortez, funnily enough also the biological brother of Colonel Cortez met O'Connor whilst he was grieving for the loss of his unit and assured him they were better off dead. Sirius manipulated O'Connor into joining the Villains and they set off for the Rouge Isles.

Now thats about as brief as i could get it so if you have read that you can follow part 4 a little bit easier .. Enjoy!

*************************************************

The dark halls echoed as a large figure walked back and forth, his eyes fixed on the entrance. Suddenly the doors creaked open, with Sirius, O'Connor and a few dozen Arachnos troops approaching the large figure. He leant forward and said,
"So.... You must be the one, the Destined One. Yes, perfect. Only a true traitorous hero can unlock all the secrets in our plot to destroy them once and for all. However, Destined One, do not enlighten me yet with those secrets of the heroes, i have someone who is more.... entertaining to speak for us. Bring him in!" A hulking, rusty cage was wheeled into the Great Halls slowly as the Villains and Lord Recluse stared with disgust at the prisoner encased inside. Recluse stepped forward, put his hands on the bars of the cage and uttered,
"Hmmm.... So you are the Colonel. I recognise that badge. I've slain more people carying that badge than you will ever meet." Cortez approached the wall of the cage and angrily said,
"Whatever your intent is Recluse you will not get it out of me. I do not comply with low-life scum like yourself. I may have lost my unit because of your malicious intent but my faith remains bold. And that is something you cannot stab out of me!"
"Your words are brave for someone who lacks even the skill to keep his own men under his command. Step forward Destined One and see the face of your enemy." O'Connor without hesitation approached the cage and the sight of him left Cortez stunned. he fell to his knees like a boulder. Recluse started to laugh.
"Heh. So do you see now. You cannot win. You can never win, hero. Your time is up. Now with the ultimate weapon on my side, your soldier who can tell us all of the heroes secrets we shall reign supreme! The whole world will tremble in fear of the name Lord Recluse!" The hall fell silent and Recluse ordered his minions to send Cortez out of his sight.

Many hours had passed and they all involved the air of the Great Halls filled with Recluse's booming voice, proclaming his plans to dominate and enslave all that would not join him. Because of the understanding Sirius and Recluse had, Sirius was not afraid to suggest new plans to Recluse, whereas if any Arachnos grunt interruped Recluse they would be sleeping with the fishes. Sirius stood up, walked over to Recluse's throne, bowed and started speaking.
"My Lord, we cannot deny the wiseness of your plan. However may I suggest some sort of plot involving that worthless scrap of hero that is held prisoner?" Recluse slowly stood up, smirked at Sirius and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Now I understand why I chose you as my right-hand man. You have a mind tainted with the raw talent for villainy. Get him in here! And release him from the cage!" The confused but scared Arachnos immediately rushed for the cage, placed it infront of Recluse and opened the door. Recluse reached out for the fatigued Cortez and pulled him out the cage. Cortez tried to struggle but he was too exhausted to put up any sort of fight. Recluse stared at Cortez, slapped him with the back of his hand and shouted,
"Bah! Time to make some use of you! Get me a transport chopper and get me to Bloody Bay now! And bring the prisoner. Hmmm... so Destined One, you ready to see how real leaders make their point. Hahahahaha!"

******************************************

Wow that was hard to type off the top of my head. Its a bit shorter than the other parts because at this stage i want to leave some room for Part 5 and i dont want to cram all the story together in one go. I apologise if any of the story above is sloppy or innaccurate in places but i tried my best! now this thread has over 100 views but very few replies. So if you've read it just leave one with your feedback. Cheers!

heh... glad ur enjoying the story shiver.. now I'm starting to run out of possible outcomes for the next part so this is gonna be another "Off the top of my head" chapters ... enjoy!

*******************************************

The whole outlook of the situation had turned. What started as a routine patrol with the expected stupidity of Jones and O'Connor thrown in there was now an essence of full scale war being felt everywhere. It was now the 8th of July and Miss Liberty along with her consultants sat around a table contemplating on what happened and what could be done. A consultant stood up,
"Look people! The longer we leave this situation the worse it will become! Colonel Cortez and his unit could still be out there in desperate need of rescue!" Another consultant rose to his feet with his fists clenched and yelled,
"Well it's too late for that now! They're dead I tell you dead! I say we look as this being a terrible mistake and concentrate on the matter at hand! There has been patrols scouting for the unit for 3 days now and not a single trace of any Longbow!" Before this heated debate could turn into a full argument a scout seargeant burst through the door completely out of breath and said,
"Miss Liberty.... You're needed in the recon room right away! It's a matter of urgency!"

What awaited Miss Liberty was not what she had hoped for at all. She had many Recon Units telling her what they had seen, the carnage of dozens of Longbow massacred and lying dead on the streets of Bloody Bay. They had confirmed that was Cortez's Unit also. Miss Liberty, stunned by what she had heard proclaimed,
"There is but one thing to do now. Gather the troops and assemble them for a full scale attack on the Villains Base! They shall see where their treachery leads them!" Miss Liberty drew her sword, smirked and said,
"I have a personal fight to pick with the b****rd who thinks that the Longbow will not retaliate for the loss of one of their units! Lets get going!"

Meanwhile Lord Recluse, The Destined One, Sirius and Colonel Cortez had just touched down on the Villains Base at Bloody Bay. Recluse slowly walked off the helicopter and smiled.
"Ah... Today shall be a day that the heroes will think twice before trying to interfere in Villain's business! Bring the Prisoner! And a Comm-Link! Get an engineer to hack into the transmitter so we have a way of communicating with those vile hero scum!...... Yes, today is going to be quite interesting." Before Recluse could continue his speech an Arachnos Soldier ran up to Recluse, nervously saluted and stuttered,
"Sir... The heroes... th....they're attacking! North Wall! The turrets cannot take them all down!" Recluse clenched his fists, punched the Arachnos and shouted,
"Bah! So they think they can take us down! If they want to see how the real fighters make their mark then lets do this! Sirius, Destined One, get yourelves a good killing spot. I would be very interested to see how you display your worth." Sirius took a bow.
"At once sir." The Destined One, with not a single care that heroes were dying because of him, also bowed.
"I will not let you down my lord."

The Scene at the Villains Base was utter chaos. Every gangway, tower, helipad and courtyard was filled with gunfire, despair, slaughter and death. The heroes, though outnumbered, had an unimaginable passion to massacre any Arachnos for the loss of their unit. Recluse, watching the carnage from the top helipad yelled,
"Fight harder you worthless rats! Sirius! Give them a hand!" Sirius rushed to the warzone but his path was blocked by none other than Miss Liberty.
"So.... pathetic villain.. lets see how you fare against me!" The two brawlers broke out in a bloodthirsty duel, swords wielded with such mastery. It was an even match.. too even. But Miss Liberty's perception just could not be broken. After many parrying attack Miss Liberty made a clean swipe and cut off Sirius' head. Recluse was amazed.
"Argh! That worthless mule! Destined One! Finish that hero!" The Destined One charged into the fray only to find Miss Liberty standing with terrible rage present on her face. She ran towards the Destined One.
"O'Connor! It ends here, traitor! You do not deserve life you insignificant worm! Die now!" O'Connor picked up Sirius' blade and charged Miss Liberty without a second to think. However before two blades met a stray bullet from a Longbow Rifle pierced O'Connor's heart. He fell to the ground in agony. Miss Liberty walked over to him with her sword held firmly in her hands. She did not waste any time. She beheaded O'Connor. He was finally slain.

Recluse, amazed and stunned by these turns of events grabbed Cortez, who was in chains, by his throat and yelled down to Miss Liberty,
"So! You may have killed two of my minions so how about we make it even! I kill him.... then i shall kill you!" Miss Liberty was in absolute shock to see Cortez alive and fearing for his safety she ran like a freshly shot arrow up to the higher platform. Every step she made was creating a tighter grip around Cortez's neck. When she finally reached the platform she knew that taking Recluse on head to head would be suicidal. So her initiative kicked in. With a powerful thrust she threw her sword and hit Recluse straight in the arm. In an instant Recluse lost control of Cortez and he crawled away from the wounded villain. Recluse cried out in pain and ordered a full scale retreat. There was just too many Arachnos still present to even consider challenging to chase down and finish Recluse as every Arachnos would gladly throw himself infront of him. The villains had fled their own base. The battle was over.

Sunset approached Bloody Bay. Miss Liberty and Colonel Cortez stood on the platform completely exhausted. Cortez staggered to his feet and said,
"How... how did you make it here? How did you manage to drive a full villain legion from their own base." Miss Liberty smiled and replied,
"We knew we had someone as important as you to save".

************************************************

Ok and thats it! My story summed up in 5 parts! Its been a pleasure writing these for you guys and i look forward to hearing any comments/feedback you might have. Thanks!
