I found that SR was decent solo low levels but couldnt handle teams without a decent defender. High level with fortitude I tanked +7s on occasions, which makes me feel the defense changes arent really needed

:S if the fortitude was slotted with 3 def buffs you prolly could have done it with and SR stuff on

Hmm I disagree there...I've been around as long as you, and the early 20s were quite tough really. No SOs make SR a painfull set, and no true AoE defense until lvl 35 really hurt as well.
