Hi there.
I'm fairly new to RP myself but if you're on Union you should head to the Galaxy Girl statue after 9pm (BST).
It can be very daunting at first but there are some good folks there. 
As for etiquette, it seems there are a few different schools of thought

Sounds cool, i had a quick read of the recent posts and i would join in but i'm not quite sure how i would introduce myself.
I introduced myself as a late Arriving student. Just read the current situation and work your way into it. E.G., you could be an ordinary student having lunch when you meet the others
i'm sure i'm probally one of the many people who ask this but... how do i roleplay? what are the rules and etiquette? can anyone direct me to a good source of information about rping?
