Recovery Aura

Defender noobie question:
Does Recovery Aura affect the Defender that casts it (like Healing Aura), or is it team mate only?
I've been trawling through guides and the offical forums and can't seem to find a definite answer.

It affects the caster too

Same with Regeneration Aura.

All PBAoE buffs effect the caster.

While we are on this do you guys just 3 slot it with recharge reduction and use the other slots elsewhere or do you add another 3 slots to end recovery enhancers?

hey Lode,

following recent discussions with high level empaths - I now continue to 6-slot recovery hasten and RA. RA really doesnt need End Recov.
I hav noticed a difference, albeit not great.

I have, IIRC, 3 rech, 1 EndRdx and 1 EndMod.

Right thanks guys. Im gonna level hard for 2nd respec and stick to the plan. Had I done that Id have a spare respec already but mnever mind. Like I said to an SG friend sometimes you have to try things to fully realise what needs doing.

Does Recovery Aura make Stamina unnecessary? Or is the recharge interval (assuming 3 recharge SOs) on RA too long?

[/ QUOTE ]It's too long post-ED, so before you have power sink/conserve power from epic, you'll need stamina.

Yeah what max said. Pre ED you didn't need stamina. while RA wasn't perma i did find that my end was. The down time of RA was so short that I never once ran out od end between applications...

My RA is 6 slotted 3 endurance mods and 3 recharge, i dont have stamina.

I get on just fine. In fact just hit 50 last night

I have stamina mainly because the leadership powers, with fly, tend to eat my end if i do anything but stand there.

RA is slotted 3/3 recharge/end rec
