damn just realised the power choices are all chosen at the wrong levels =S lol. I just need to know if the powers are the correct ones to choose. cheers.
Don't slot Bonfire. Just Don't.
And you really wanna fit flashfire or cinders in there too, so you have some actual control. Cant speak for the empath side myself though.
does bonfire not need slotting?.. or do you just not like it?
I got the impression that it's fires ice slick/earthquake.
I'd planned to slot it for recharge on my fire controller, but does it come back up fast enough that it's not worth the slots? Or am I missing something about it and it's actually not a useful AoE control power at all (soft control though it may be)

not sure on the end usage of your controller but will you really need Stamina, RA and Conserve Power?
1) It can be up perma with no slotting
2) Its not like ice slick, It does knock back, not down so it just throws everything all over the place.

As for KB Vs KD... I tend to find that if I'm fighting anything above my level KB tends to turn into KD anyway.
I've seen Ice Slicks throw mobs off them if the mobs are low enough relative to the ice controller, so I'm not sure how much fundamental difference there is between KB and KD, or if it's just a magnitude thing.
Really useful to know before I plough into bonfire though.. thanks.

Bonfire will make a big difference, It will throw pretty much anything up to a +4 straight out of the patch.
Anything +5 or over will get knocked down.

Ah.. OK. Careful use required then unless I plan to just lob mobs everywhere..... must place appropriately.

I have read that Ring of Fire the single target immobilise is good for the AV you meet later on. Not that high myself but it might help the imps take on those AV's that tend to run.
Fire cages works well enough for me, Tad endurance heavy though so if you dont have someone to back you up you might be saying bye bye to your blue bar

Regen aura is a bit naff, and make sure you get your travel power at 14.

Wrong. Slot it 3 recharge 3 heal and it actually has a higher regeneration factor than Instant Healing.
Just made a quick build for powers not slotted or anything just need advice on if the power selections are good or bad. Any suggestions welcome plz?
