It's good of you to do this Iguanaja, but I haven't found this myself, I can solo pretty well and don't have a problem with getting a team. A couple of days ago I was on a team with 4 Dominators and one or two other ATs, it was great (and in fact, perhaps that's what you should do with people posting here - team up together ;> ).
My perception of this might be because I usually form teams and not join them unless I know the person inviting. I been reasonably successful as the opener for fights with an alpha strike of Seeds of Confusion backed up by holds, immobs and damage.
What are you playing? This is the opposite of my experience. My dominator does more than her fair share of damage and can hold and solo +2 bosses with very little danger of faceplanting.

Healers watch out for him, he loves aggro
Playing a dominator with most of my slots in holds. Therefore I -can- solo bosses and even elite bosses, but it takes half a year, seeing as my endurance will run out in less than a second. Dominators work far better in teams, when they have a decent damage dealer like a corruptor or stalker to strike down their rooted targets.

Not going to post my info here, since I have a mostly fixed team I go with. I will however say this since they're my pet AT:
Teams need doms! Doms come in lot of flavors from the uber controlly plants to the more blasty gravs. Doms can plug up control holes and blasting holes, they can tie up those pesky mezzing/deadly/etc bosses and lts so the rest of the team has an easier time of it.
Don't shun dominators, you won't regret it.

Now, this whole topic might not seem like a lot of use, but if enough people post their dominator / looking for dominator here you can add a pretty impressive friend list, and dominators will recieve a little more love.
