Super Jump/Super Speed
I was ok with super speed with a 2 slotted hurdle in, most ranged opponents in large battles came down to heal their friends and I could jump and get them. However there is also hurl which has a -fly and is ranged so you can use that too. I personally don't like SS in pvp as if they aren't flying and are just standing on a building you cannot reach them.
As for how good super jump is instead I have no idea, I haven't tried it.
Samus one option is Hurl Boulder from your Primary, it will bring down any flyer it hits.
SS/SJ is quite popular, though not as popular as it used to be, as most people either go with Superjump and swift, or Superspeed with slotted hurdle.
Superspeed comes with hasten, although a SM brute may not want it, and nobody ever wants flurry. ever.
Superjump comes with combat jumping, and acrobatics.
So for a brute I'd go with superjump for now.

Wrong .
SJ isnt much better for getting flyers.
You can attack once every jump if your target is in range and you get close enough. So most flyers would kill you before you could get off halv their health.
I would go for fly or hover to get the flyers.
That said the SJ pool has some great powers which add mez protection. I never been mezed once with my dm/da scrapper which are running cj, acrobatics and the /da status shield not even in pvp which he is doing a lot atm.
I go for a hurdle/SJ/Air Superiority combo for dealing with flyers, although next time I respec, I'm going to move hurl earlier in my build, mostly because it's very funny.
I cannot recomend Air Superiority enough, as it is great for keeping bosses/elite bosses in near perma-knockdown, as well as taking down flyers in PvP.

Ok thanx for your reply guys I think I'm going for SJ then cuz' of combat jumping and dump hasten.
another option is to stand under something. that way the flyers have to come to you if they want you. problem solved.
I have a question regarding my Brute in PvP. I'm a SM/Inv brute btw with super speed atm. I resently got told a brute will have a tough time in PvP with Super Speed only since many enemies fly and cast spells at you.
So my question is, should I keep Super Speed and get Super Jump? or dump Super Speed and get Super Jump?
What do you think?
