sounds great! i like devices there is quite alot of tacts u can use. alot can take some time in the set up but quick to take out foes so it balances out well. a lot of trial and error can also go into perfecting set ups as things dont always go to plan but i do love that. its great as the unpredictableness of set ups is a big risk and getting things right is rewarding.

... I'd have thought that was a bread and butter tactic for /Devs, personally. 
This was even more effective pre-I5, but it's still a decent maneuvre now. You have to weigh up the speed of Trip Mines against the speed of using normal attacks, but in those situations where there are a lot of mobs to clear there's still a place for Trip Mines - and Time Bomb, if you have a well-coordinated team.

HI, tried this the other day and it worked great and just thought i would post about it.Proberly been thought of before but its new to me
While doing dreck type missions i usualy find myself standing about waiting for the tank to herd 2 or 3 groups and then being a ice/dev blaster i usualy just kill the stray ones while other blaster hit with their AoE attacks. Now i ask the tank where its gonna lead em to and while its herding i lay 3 or 4 mines Then BOOM 
Some times a lone 1 sets it of but most of the time a big mob runs on to em and the damage is great. great fun to watch aswell
