Heh, we were robbed...

Gotta love the whole stealth nerfing thing haven't you. Right after our S4 bantamweight match, we stood around talking for a while, all very, very puzzled as to what went on. At one point we even thought the germans could have hacked to packet data and cheated... But that was a little too far fetched. But... What isn't far fetched is the fact that we were never told that our accuracy was dropped from 75% to 50%, so never had prior knowledge to the match, that we may have had to slot another acc enhancement into our powers, to even consider hitting something.

Anyway, i'm sure the Germans would have won anyway, but if we had known this, we may have stood a better fighting chance. I for one will not participate in anything like this again, as it was turned into a farce with our powers constantly being changed and no leway being given.

And thats my two cents

Didn't they have the same disadvantage?

tbh, the reason you (and we) missed so much is because they had very good accuracy debuffs. RI and Darkest Night...ouch.

Yeah, they would have had the same disadvantage, but them hitting everything they threw compared to us hitting the square root of [censored] all kinda says to me they might have known about it. Even when we weren't either debuffed or anywhere near the Defender i still couldn't hit anything. Anyway, end of topic, i could whinge about it all day long, but still won't change a damn thing. Just thought i'd mention it so people know what to expect when entering into these 'competitions'

Just as long as you all had fun that's the main thing.

I really do think no updates to the game should have affected the S4 tournie as constantly having to adjust your game strategy was a bit of a joke.

Anyway Bridger et all no doubt learnt a lot about running a competition like this so next time will go more smoothly i hope.

Next time you'll go win i'm sure! no I do... *honest*

It was coincidence, they can't have known about it, the competition started months ago, that was when they chose their defender, no? Before I6 was even on the horizon.

I understood they had a rad/rad defender and a */rad controller. I had thought this dark one was a sub or something.

I'm sure they hit us about the right amount of times, given a base of 50%. It's a pity that we really weren't able to get info on them apart from right before the match.

Still, I'm glad I participated, and hope to be in the next competition akin to this, if there is one. Kudos to Bridger and the team for whipping it up and serving it hot, even though it got cold after sitting for so long

Am still waiting to show off my prizes to my workmates. Heh, yeah right. This is going into my 'geek' box.

Can we get them before the comic con? Possibly could bring the medal down to show around or something.

Shrug.
