Well guys it's been a while coming, but i've finally cancelled my subscription, it runs out on 27th September.
I've just gotten bored of CoX, as you can probably tell from my absence of late. I'm not saying i'll never come back, not at all, but for now, i'm off.
It has been an absoulte blast, mostly, but although i've got a lot of characters i'm very fond of, I just can't bring my self to do all the villainous content again, and I10 just didn't get me excited enough. Ah well, tis a shame.

Shame to see you go mate, but glad to have met you and always been a pleasure teaming. As i've already said, I'm thinking of starting up LotRO...this will still be my main game for now, but probably won't play so much for a bit...having no Xbox for a couple of week and playing this solidly has left me pretty burnt out and with my Globals starting to decrease, be it leaving or over with the yanks...i'm starting to depend on PuGs for my pleasures.
I'll be in contact with you when I pick up LotRO...and i'm not being a damn hobbit.
I agree with you Bru, getting the CoP back would be nice. Encourage the SG to work together to actually get something that benefits the whole SG. I have to disagree on Tabula Rasa though, tried the beta out for a bit, but didn't enjoy it (not 'cos it's a beta mind). It felt like a huge really bad episode of Star Trek, I just don't like the settings and the whole Logos thing either.
Chin, no worries, i'm a staunch anti-hobbit'ist myself. I'm playing a namby pamby full plate and packing steel elven guardian, Kill's got a human Ranger. I like it so far. It's definitely an ultra refined version of all the good parts from morgs that have come before it. Which seems fair, seeing as how most fantasy games stole from Tolkien (who himself just pinched everyone else's mythology, but he was first so fair do's 
)
Still, having seen the new War video from Leipzig, I know for sure i'll be locking myself away with that game for years when it gets here

Not planning on getting heavily into LotRo either, just summit to play (that's different) in the meantime. I'm confident that i'll stop playing that when Mass Effect comes out.
Bioshock is awesome and ive just started to get into vampire masquarade: bloodlines. 
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is one of the best games ever made, imho. Played it through about 5 times, alas, poor Troika.
I've got it too...although never got all the way through it, 1st time got to Chinatown then brought this and never went back...started it again a few months ago and got to Downtown, then never played it again.
Love it, but some reason never finished it...go figure, i'll do it one day
atm im omw to chinatown with my gangrel chracter, i cnt believe how indepth it is. wish they would bring out a sequel to it cause its this ones quite buggy, altho the gameplay and graphics do make up for it.

The fan made patches are well worth checking out, but not until you've played it through at least once. The patch notes are inevitably full of spoilers and you may not want them to fix some of the things that they do fix.
A sequel us unlikely, as Troika went belly up and Activision hold the license to Vampire:Masquerade. However, CCP (of EVE fame) and White Wolf merged earlier this year and the new World of Darkness setting (Vampire:Reqium) is currently being turned into an MMO.
Between the Warhammer MMO and a WoD one, in a few years i'll doubt i'll need to leave the house.

Ah, the dreaded sewers. Yeah, that bit's a pain first time round. Once you know your way you can whizz through it though. Only part of the game I didn't like.

hello one and all just droping a short one to find out if anybody is actuly using the sg anymore ive tryed catching some of you lot online a few times randomly in the past week and never seem to have any luck lol
but the main reason im asking is another rent is due and its showing only 3 people being online in the past 24 hour so if the base is basicly going redundant i will downsize it to one of the cheaper smaller plots to cost us either little or no rent so the group disnt end up screwed over by prestige debt to the point we can never save it in the future

I'm still popping on every now and then, but been concentrating on working my TA Def more recently...problem I got at the mo, is the fact its summer and a lot more tired in the evenings, so not really playing past 9pm at the mo. Hopefully when it cools down a bit i'll be back to normal.
But i've also noticed a lack of activity in the SG...which kinda gets me down, feels like we're on the downward spiral...so may be wise to downgrade the base for the time being until we start getting a more players.

i think the bigest hit to the sg is actuly my fault lol the fact that myself dark and td all movied oer to the US practicly full time now has made a big dent in both our earning power and activity but to be honest it was on a slight downhill before this with alot of our regulars moving on to other games
on that note been on tabula for a week or so now and desided i wont be leaving for it felt to much like wow with guns to me some nifty new features but not enuff to keep me playing it the way i play this im afrade
