But to fulfil which role? Corruptors are somewhere between defenders and blasters, so which of these two roles are you intending to fill, or is it a bit of both?
I have a dark/thermal alt, but she is currently setup for soloing/blasting - most of the powers are from the primary, with only the area-heal from the secondary (although this is mainly due to my low lvl atm! 
) Dark has some great blasts though, at my current lvl moonbeam (1 slotted for dmg) will 1-shot 99% of even lvl mins without scourge being necessary.
I also use a Dark/Thermal and I'm pretty impressed with the offensive capabilities.
I've been choosing mainly primary powers for the moment (although I'll pick a few secondaries after I level up a little more)
Moonbeam kicks butt, no doubt about it - Being able to 1-shot enemies from a distance gives me a great feeling of power! Bwahahaha!
Well, I've hit lvl 11 and found that so far at least, I'm very versatile, when the team needs damage I hit em with blasts, when the team is weak I use my Cauterize. Not the strongest at any of them but versatility is a trait I can't pass up.

I cant say much about the dark part as I'm rad but I only have 3 attacks(first 2 +snipe) and they are more than enough even for soloing(considering that rad offense is probably tha fastest powerset in recharge time) in the thermal part I got the two heals, aoe heal with 3 heal+3recharge enhancs, single target heal with 3 heal enhanc, I got the shield with 3 res enhancs and I got rez fresh off my latest lvlup (I'm still only 16). Lately I've been soloing, but my build works great either in a team or soloing.
Dont expect Moonbeam's damage to be consistant, im lvl 18 and Moonbeam, slotted 1 acc and 3 dmg DO's hits for just over half of an even lvl minions HP.....WHEN it hits. I play a Dark/Dark and dont know if anybody else has been seeing this problem, but despite my efforts to keep my blasts slotted with Acc my miss rate is terrible, now playng on vicious im gonna have to drop a difficulty as im increasingly face planting when i miss 5 - 6 time in a row

Noticed I was missing a lot last night. I also heard some ppl muttering over c-chat that the acc has been altered in the patch, but I've not seen anything official about this, and I might be missing part of the information - cos only half the conversation was visible. TG wasn't that you saying something along those lines, or did I completely mis-understand?
Looking at the boards it appears a lot of people have noticed a difference in accuracy - I must admit I was missing more then usual last night but I just thought that was me being low level more then anything
It's pretty weird that it hasn't been officially confirmed...Unless it's a bug? (Unlikely)

There are stars under the avatar - for where ppl have rated you - apparently i have 3 ppl rating me, and i know the first one is a 5, but the average is 2 - which i guess means two ppl have only given me 1. Whaaaaaaa

On a more serious note - whilst that's true - computer random number generators are not random at all, and the average probabilites will add up. So if you begin missing more regularly (over time) then something has probably changed!
