Ice Mastery on Grav/TA?
Hibernate is a good heal and full protection while doing it. The recharge is very long even after it's slotted, but I like it. Cold Armor is a nice defense against Smash/Lethal. Resist cold is ok too, but not that important in my opinion. I havn't run into a whole lot of Ice tossers to worry about it. Other then the recharge of Ice Storm, the power is worth it. The minus to recharge will do good against those that can't resist it. The cold damage is worth it alone since most of the high levels have some resistance to the lethel damage produced. Keep the baddies locked when using it or they will scatter. I skipped the other two powers, Ice Blast and Frost Breath. I didn't need the extra range and I already had Ice Control to use a lot of extra slowing with. My secondary is Storm so I had a lot of extra hit power and debuffs to really mop up the mobs. TA has some nice control and debuffs that will work well if you take the Ice APP.

I have a level 47 Grav/Trick Arrow Controller currently with the Psi Mastery pool. I used a respec to move some powers and slots around and glanced at the other APPs to remind myself what they had again. I noticed Ice had Ice Storm and, checking it's real numbers, it had 100 damage unslotted! That's triple my Psi Tornado! Is this power really that good or is there some kind of catch I might be missing here? Also, the cold armor, how skippable is it? I would like to have it's benefits if I respec into ice, but I hate how it looks, so I'm not sold on taking or skipping it yet. And the other powers, Ice Blast, Frost Breath, and Hibernate, are they worthwhile?
