I run an extremely casual, largely utility supergroup. I'm always willing to help players who aren't keen on "Supergroup Politics".
We've got most of the teleporters throughout CoH (especially the troublesome ones, such as Dark Astoria, Perez Park and the Hollows), and we've amassed a decent collection of Invention Salvage so you can probably find whatever you need to build your Invention Origin enhancements.
Though if people is what you're looking for, I recommend DJKyo's Teamsters SG. As I understand it, they're friendly and quite active.

I went to the supergroup recruiting thread, but most are outdated and i can't find a listitng of server supergroups recruiting anywhere, and all I get ingame are Broadcast spam and blind invites
... anyway...
Im a mature, casual gamer with around 9 years experience in a long list of MMO's. I started CoH on release but didn't get far, I made the mistake of following my group of gaming friends to WoW, but have always wanted to come back to CoH. Well, Im back and looking for a cool group to hang and team with. All my chars are low level now, but nothing lasts forever.
Please PM me here. My primaries are a MA/DA scrapper and ILL/EMP controller. I am not looking for powerleveling, handouts, or anything along those lines - just a somewhat active group of quality people who enjoy the game.
