OS/Motherboard installation help

I got my new motherboard today, as well as a retail version of Vista, as I was informed that the OEM Vista would not work with the new motherboard.

My question is rather simple (sorry for the n00bness, I've never had to do this before).....which do I install first? The new motherboard or the retail Vista?

Motherboard first. Then install Windows.
