mind/fire or grav/elec?...fire/?

This is really for PVP. I've seen a lot of good mind/ builds. But it seems like it is super common. I know it does good damage and what not.

I have always wanted a dom with fire/. Although I'm not sure they would do well in PVP. Would fire/ go with any secondary to make it great in pvp?

Anyways, I also saw a really good grav/elec build too. Which would be better in places like sirens?

Thanks!

Mind is the go-to PvP set. The Hold is fast and bypasses positional Defense completely and has great damage. My SR Scrapper cries at Widows and Mind Doms (well, until he Taunts them lol). Mind is the best, far and away.

I'll give an honorable mention to Grav. It ain't half bad in PvP (its single targetness hurts it in PvE, but not in PvP). Beware its long animations, though. Its looseness gives plenty of room to take things like Tough and Phase Shift. In I12 PvP you could really stack up the slows, but in PvP 2.0 I think slows are broken.

Fire is good as it also has a very fast Hold, and it's damage is good. Second-best to Mind, though. If you team with Stalkers get the -Perception power for some lolz.

The slow hold animation will kill you.

What you call "looseness" is simply a lack of good powers to take. You can achieve the same effect with another powerset by simply skipping some of the good powers that aren't needed for PvP.

The slows won't stop most people from going anywhere with the high unsuppressed movement and jumpheight of dedicated PvPers. You've only got two slows to stack and neither is very powerful.
Ice is the only set that can truly slow someone down because you have one power which will floor the speed of anyone.
