It does decent damage, but it's fast recharge and does -def.
Most scrappers have weapons mastery now, so not many have LBE, but you should definitely take it if you're going with body mastery. I believe it's stronger than the weapons mastery attacks.

See, Im tryin to get rid of Flurry. I dont care for the long animation time.. altho it does good dmg the long animation time sucks leaves you defenseless for a good 2 to 3 seconds.
Trying to find something quick yet still give a decent attack and with it being a range attack it could be beneficial for runners. Also with the added bonus of picking up Focused Accuracy in order to get it.
Now the other question would be, would it be worth it to drop Web Grenade from Weapons mastery?

Web Grenade is the reason to go Weapons Mastery (some people like Caltrops for Stalker bait but meh @ Stalkers if you know how to keep moving).

Welp I decided to give it a try. 5 slotted Focus acc and 6 slotted Laser Beam Eyes.. I must say it I like it! much better than that 1 or 2 second hold from Web Grenades. By the time I usually got to the villain they were already breakin loose from Web Grenade and it was a 50/50 toss up if I got the hit i before they got to far. Now its a pretty much a surefire hit on those pesky runners, they are havin a really hard time gettin away now.
The dmg is pretty darn comparable to the dmg from Flurry, which is nice. pushin between 140-170 depending on the person Im attacking. It makes a great chain ender for those heavy hits from Broadsword and they try to cut and run.

Anyone use Laser Beam Eyes epic power? do you use it? Do you have it slotted? On average how much does it hit for?
Im still working on my build. Ive rebuilt it twice, tweeking things here and there. Shield still has a way to go. Was thinking of dropping a power pick up and six slot Laser Beam Eyes epic power but not sure if its actually good or not slotted.. anyone here have it slotted out? How do you feel about it?
