Trial new costumes before accepting the change
And don't forget the two arrows pointing UP at your crotch from the knees.

Just say Icon (and Facemaker) have special permission from AE to use their technology for a "preview."
And yes, the lighting in the tailor is horrid.
It'd be nice if we could still access the color palette and such while in it, too.
The trial location should be a dressing room. They could add dressing rooms inside of the tailor which really they should anyway lol.
Friends don't let friends buy an ncsoft controlled project.

Id like an option to be able to run a trial of my new costume before going live (and spending the Inf/Free Tailor).

This would have to be a limited time (like 5 mins) either on the real server.
Alternatively a "special instance" of a random location (city, forest, caves, etc).
After the limited time expires it takes you back into the tailor screen. Or if you use the "instance" option you can stay there for as long as you want but noone else can enter that instance (like when I enter a door for a mish, that is my mish).
Why?
Because what I design in the tailor looks different in the "real world". It is also impossible to know what ur aura will look like when u turn on some powers that also apply an aura-like effect (ie: Fortification, Unyielding, etc).
Also having a black aura (personal or item) is very hard to see on a black background. Try having black flames or black lightning...
Also the lighting is different, you can zoom in and out and rotate all around in the "real world".
Try the Ulterior set with black and white and you get a large black hole on the middle of your buttocks
Or the medieval armor where there is an arrow pointing down just above your nether-regions.
