Game not running after last patch

I'd recommend starting with Zloth's ++ Common Solutions & Posting Guidelines ++ thread that is stickied in this forum.
Secondly, post a log from running CoH Helper as it will give information about your system and the CoH installation and settings.
Thirdly, post a log from running HijackThis. This will show what else is going on on your computer while you are playing CoH.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

After the last patch, when I try to load the game, it goes through the updater fine, but takes a very long time to get to the actual sign in screen. When it does get there, I can sign in as normal, but when I select a character, it takes so long to actually connect that the server drops me back to sign in.
Game was working fine before the patch. Using Windows 7, have tried running in compatibility for Vista and XP. Not sure what to look at next.
