What's best IO set for kb protection for fire tank

You can either get a Steadfast Protection Knockback IO and put it in one of your Resistance powers, or get a Blessing of the Zephyr Knockback IO and put it in Super Jump. If you have Combat Jumping, Karma Knockback is another option. If you don't want to use Merits, Blessing of the Zephyr will be your most expensive and hardest to find option; especially for lower-level IOs.
If money isn't an object and you have a lv50 character, you can look into the perma-Set Bonuses of the new PVP sets; many of which have Knockback protection as an early set bonus.
One Knockback Protection IO should be good enough for most applications in PVE. Two will cover all but very few things.
3 slot temp protection and put an entire set of steadfast in. also put a karma: kb io in combat jumping and 3 slot super jump and put in a nentire set of blessing of the zephyr. that will be 12 points of kb prtection which is more then enough for anything.

You can probably get better set bonuses for those two extra slots of Steadfast; at most I'd say get the Res/+3% Def to pair with the Knockback IO if you want. The Res/End piece with minor +HP set bonus just shorts you on Enh%.

Except it's Temperature Protection we're talking about here. The enhancement % is irrelevent because it caps Fire resist unslotted I believe. If you have the extra slots it's a good deal.

That's exactly what I'm saying; if you put that slot somewhere else, making a 4 slot 5 or such, you likely get a much more beneficial set bonus/enh% than the 1.5% HP buff.
Like it says, I don't want to have to take acrobatics so what set do I need and how many and do I put them into my super jump?
