Legend wrong for MA maps while editing? (and more)

Best I can tell, Xs in the legend are placed as Os on the map and vice versa. The only map I can 100% confirm this for is the Hellion building arson since I've been working with it a lot recently.

Also, the spawn locations (front, middle, and back) don't seem to always follow the rules. For a while, I was convinced that only wall placement items were showing up as such: Front = Front, Middle = Back, Back = Middle. As I was doing my last test before a map server disconnect, my boss character who had been very good about spawning at the back of the map like she should, spawned in the middle with no editing between attempts. When I checked to see what might have spawned in her spot, it was empty. Again, for the same map I mentioned before.

I love MA. Really love the new additions. But boy is it a test of wills at times.

Agreed. I was hoping the new toys would take out some of the frustration but now I'm afraid I was being too optimistic.

Not that it will stop me from tinkering with it.

Yes, the Xs and Os are reversed in the help pop-up. Also, there are maps where the Xs and Os are labeled incorrectly for a variety of reasons - front/middle/back are scrambled on the map, or the minimap is reversed left-to-right or rotated 90 degrees.

I bugged all this in beta and predictably none of it was fixed. Sometimes I wonder why I bother.

That was one of the things I was looking at today. Maps. I've been wanting to see if the maps were fixed as far as front, middle, and back goes. I was looking at office maps in my missions. The way they're listed is still way off. They're rarely in the correct floor order. I really wish they'd fix that. You have to really look at the map, then, test it to be sure it's in the right order. It drives me crazy.

I'm glad to hear that the X & Os are reversed (well, not really). That makes much more sense after seeing the way they were marked on the maps. They weren't where I figured they'd be. It's nice to have the spawn points on the floor-plan, though. At least, after you decipher the inherent flaws in the map layouts.
