Super slow mo (like 1/100th speed moving)

Long time player, two days ago zipping around the rogue isles no problem. Last night before I15 hit... and tonight after I15 hit, noticed something different. At login screen, the transition to the server selection screen was slow mo, and it seemed to scroll in vs. just pop up. Same with the character select screens. And when logging into any character, the world appears to scroll in, like a reverse fade. Can move mouse look around with no problem, very responsive, yet character is in very very slow motion. Not lag, as far as I can tell, just something choking the motion. Be it jumping, running, like I'm moving at 1/100th speed and stuck in zero gravity. Completely unplayable.

Anyone else experience this lately? Any ideas of what may be happening?

No changes to the system over last two days, no windows updates, firewall allowing program just like before.

Running windows 7 RC 64bit, core 2 extreme at 3ghz, 2 ati hd 3870x2's, 9.6 cat for win764, 4 gig ram at 1066.... but almost besides the point as was working just fine the other day, and for last several months. Not noticing it in other games either, such as lotro.

Curious if anyone else is experiencing this. Seems to be more than just lag, which is something I've rarely experienced in this game over 5 years.

I'd recommend starting with Zloth's ++ Common Solutions & Posting Guidelines ++ thread that is stickied in this forum.

Secondly, post a log from running CoH Helper as it will give information about your system and the CoH installation and settings.

Thirdly, post a log from running HijackThis. This will show what else is going on on your computer while you are playing CoH.

Thanks for the info... I ran the COH helper and belowis the output. Also booted the game on my vista laptop and had no issues, so something definitely became messed up on the win7 machine.

I read through the common solutions guide, started in safe mode and that did not solve it. Logged into coh and the screen just seemed to reverse fade in, followed by very slow mo on movement/jumping. Can mouse look around with no slow down.

Here is the coh helper log, and below that is the hijack this log, any further help is much appreciated. I ran this with coh open in the background. Thanks in advance for any help!

I uninstalled mcafee beta for win7-64 and the problem went away. The mcafee beta program must have installed an update the other day causing the super slow down/reverse fade in on windows... weird stuff.

So back to happy fun time coh/v at warp speed.

If anyone else is running win7 rc7100 64, and has a beta of mcafee internet security running, it may cause this problem and simply remove it to fix.
