You're better against rather strong targets.
Honestly when you take /Poison every pet becomes expendable, so I'd suggest getting some good endurance slotting down pat.
Level 38 is when you'll start to feel better, as Noxious Gas is basically an ungimped Poison Trap causing vomit to go flying everywhere for a minute and a half. Slap it on a Grave Knight in a mob and watch 'em hurl.
Oh, and remember to get an immobilize from a patron pool.
I have a lvl 47 necro/poison. My only question is, did you take all your debuffs. While the attacks from the mm-primary look shiny, they are pretty much worthless IMHO. You're better off getting every debuff you have from poison, and slotting them well.
Poison is the strongest debuffing set there is for hard targets, and you should shred av's and eb's when you encounter them. Necro/poison is potentially a very powerful build, but it requires lots of micromanagement.

I have no attacks. I did take the self-heal. I have found it useful.
I have all the debuffs up to my level. I help take down bosses in team fights I believe. I don't really have any notification that I am contributing and I don't think my team does either. I am currently thinking I will just have to live without a "good debuffs" comment.

Poison is tops at single, hard target debuffing. You don't get the green numbers, you don't even get the fuzzy patch on the floor, but you do get DEAD bosses/Heroes/AVs fast. The envenom/weaken combo is second to none.
I recall on my Bots/poison when I told the team you take everybody else, the bots and I are taking Aurora Borealis -- and we did.

I have a lv 28 necro/poison mm. She's painful to team with. Solo is ok although it is very slow. I feel like I barely contribute. Should I just give up and delete?
