Command to clear specific chat tab?
/clearchat
I'm pretty sure it clears ALL tabs.. but I might have a workaround..
Delete the tab, then do /chatload to put it back (empty). lol
(Make sure you did a /chatsave at some point in the past)
Is there a command to delete a tab though?

[/ QUOTE ] No, but it's the closest thing we've got to what you asked. You'd have to right click to delete it.
To make it faster, just "/bind KEY chatload" then when you rightclick a tab, press D (to delete it), then "KEY" to instantly put it back.
How important is it for you to erase a single window?
I have a chatload button yeah. I have a bind I hit very, very often, but it gives feedback in a window. And while the feedback is what I'm looking for and reading.. I also don't like staring at it, especially since that tab/window is used for other things. So what I do is right click and clear it occasionally. This is why I would want a keybind to do it, as right clicking and deleting the tab and then hitting P to reload my chat windows would actually be more effort :|

[/ QUOTE ] But yet it's the quickest way to do exactly what you want, because the bind does not exist. So it's either take the extra half-second to right-click, or bind "clearchat" to a key and clear everything.
Alternately, you could use one of the "1 2 3 4" tabs and create a whole new window to put your desired channel in it so it wont flood your other regular chats.
Depending what you are doing with the information, you can resize it to something smaller and put it anywhere you want.
You can then use a "windowtoggle chat1" bind to open it quickly on command when you need it.. and close it when you are sick of looking at it. lol
Then you might not even need to /clearchat anyway.

What I'm saying is that presently, I right click and hit Clear History. Right clicking to delete and hitting my chat load bind would indeed take more effort (albeit, not much).

It's in 1, that's up in the top corner. Here's a picture. When it's being used a lot, it's not an issue... but when I'm hitting this bind, I'm usually idle, meaning I get the same message repeated potentially many times, just.. sitting there staring at me.

Yeah none of this works for me. I'm just neurotic like that.
Appreciate the help none the less

When you right click on a chat window, Clear History is the bottom choice. Is there a chat command to do this? And can it be done to only a specific tab? Thanks for any replies.
