Slotting Invention Sets Question

If you create an enhancement, say impervium armor, do you have to slot it for one power or can you slot it across all your invulnerabilty powers, say specifically the ones that are always on?

A single enhancement can only be placed in a single power. If you create multiples of that enhancement, they can be slotted in as many powers as can take that set type.

Slotting a whole set (or part of a set) grants set bonuses if you put them all in a single power. Slotting each piece of a set in different powers enhances the powers, but does not grant set bonuses for it.

With regards to set bonuses, you can only have five of the same name of set bonus (5 Large Regeneration Bonuses, 5 Tiny Regeneration Bonuses, etc....or with the 7.5% recharge items, LotG +Rech and the set bonus of 7.5% +recharge, you can have 5 Luck of the Gambler Recharge Bonuses, AND 5 Large Recharge Bonuses.)

Side question - unless an enhancement's descriptions says that it's unique, you can add it to as many powers as will take it, right? For example, a melee damage proc that provides a chance for extra lethal damage could be sloted into each of your melee powers, right?

Correct - if it isn't tagged as unique, you can slot
multiple copies of a single enhancement in as many
powers which accept that type of enhancement as
you have.

What about Winter's Gift?

All three of the Winter's Gift enhancements are considered Uniques and therefore can only be slotted once. So if you slot them in different powers you won't get the set bonuses.
