Yup. AE tickets are rather easy to get and they can get you uncommon and rare salvage for little effort. INF is always cheap so that ultimately inflates the price of common salvage.
Very interesting economy really.
The most inflated items (IMHO) are the common salvage and the rare purple IO recipies. There are at really high levels. The purple ultra-rare recipies though I think are in line with the effort one needs to get them.
Still, 5mil for a circuit board? That is rediculously high. I'd just get a salvage storage at a base and keep a few commons in there for personal use and sell the rest.
It really is a seller's market right now.

Oh, I know you can buy salvage tehre, I just haven't yet. I haven't run a ton of AE missions really. I need to see if there are any actually good story arcs.
