Plants/Kinetics... Can creeper vines be buffed?

I'm thinking of testing out a experimental build and I was wondering...

1: Do they count as pets for the sake of enhancements set bonuses?

2: Can they be buffed via siphons or fulcrum shifts?

1. No idea. CC summons several subpets and inheritance of enhancements has been an ongoing issue. Supposedly fixed on Test, so check it there.

2. Yes.

Yes you can fulcrum/siphon power carrions. Makes the plants/kin combo Oh so deadly, and it's insanely easy to make carrions perma.

Not to mention, Carrions just sound fierce.
