Fire/Dark

So ive been playing off and on for about 2 years. 9 months altogether. Ive never really played a scrapper past 22. Highest is a kat/wp. Always played masterminds since they solo great and I love having pets. Well anyways I really wanna take a hero blueside to 50 but im having trouble deciding on what build/archtype to take. I am melee person though, thats why im here since mm's are kinda boring to me now. I like to be in the thick of things.

Im pretty set on fire melee/dark armor. I searched here and google but couldnt find anything about one. But I am definately open to changes to powersets. I want a strong build to farm with and solo when im not grouping. Avs too if I can. Im still pretty new to cox so be easy on me :P . Im still not sure what to go for in set ios. This is the build Ive done so far. Do you think it would be better as a tanker?

fire/Dark is a fun build, I have one at lvl 26 right now and it is a blast to play like all scrapper are.

Some things about your build

The Endurance Reduction in Combat Jumping is a waste it only save you .02 Endurance. So you don't need that slotted.

DarkRegeneration is a big end hug, you want to slot that with as much Endraance Reduction you can and Acc you don't need to care about the heal part. As long as you hit 3+ it should heal you back to full health. A good IO to put in it is Theft of Essence: Chance for +Endurance.

Death Shroud could use more Endurance reduction in it for toggle it does take a lot of end.

Your attacks are slotting ok but I would look in to slotting the full sets to get some of the Def numbers. If you can get all of your Def numbers around 20% it makes a big different. I would look at getting Weave that should help too.

that is just somethings I saw there are more small things. I hope this helps and gives you Ideal of what more to build for.

For the AV soloing Fire melee is a great set to go for it but /DA is not the best. The Heal cost some much end it is hard to live and other things. It can be done but it is not the best for it.

Thank you so much for the advice. I will try to rework my build. I see what you mean about dark armor. I see the resist numbers and they look good. Im guessing this game isnt like most. Usually resisting damage is a lot better than avoiding it since its consistent and no surprises. Im just trying to avoid having another WP scrapper like most of the community. Specially since I have 4 low lvl chars with WP :/ I cant seem to make one without it.
