Claws Synergy??
Basing any decision on a thread started by him is probably a very bad idea.
Claws works well with anything. I kill extremely fast with my claws/sr. And my claws/inv.
If you need more damage, do claws/dark for the damage aura. I'd say the same about FA, but I will never recommend that set to anyone without a pocket defender/corruptor.

[/ QUOTE ]You concerns are definately noted. I only gave claws a second look because I noticed that I could go thru missions at the lower levels and not be regen and still have endurance. At first I thought it was the day jobs icons doing the extra recovery but after they wore off thats when I really took notice that I still had plenty of endurance. I played claws a very long time ago and just wasnt impressed with it but now I could see leveling to the end game with this set.

Well was gonna say Claws/Regen.
Hasten for Recharge, And enough endurance to run Assault and Tactics. But that could also be done with any secondary...
Claws/Super Reflexes is probably most popular with the powergamers. But it's hard to go wrong with scrapper combinations.

If you are going to invest a considerable amount, Claws/Invul can be very interesting, and you get extra to hit boost from Invincibility. The mix of defense and Smashing/Lethal resistance is rather impressive after Tough/Weave and some IOs. You can either slot for regen/max hit points to cover the Psi hole or for Psi defense. Initially, Shockwave would seem to be counter productive with Invincibility, but remember Invincibility only works in melee range. Learning to cluster spawns with Shockwave from range means once you jump in, usually more are within Invincibility's range than had you just jumped in.
Then again, it's hard to go wrong with Claws/SR and when teaming Claws/DA is just pure joy. That is, until they figure out a way to do up a Claws/SD.

After reading thru this thread I got to thinking about claws again. Part of why I didnt like the set was the lack of build up when I really need it to hit stuff. But I was wondering if I could slot so many +accuracy set bonuses that it might not be an issue when paired with the kismet tohit IO. I was wondering of all the possible secondaries what gives claws the most synergy? In a sense what I am trying to do is kill stuff extremely fast with this toon. So any combos or builds you know that work good with this please suggest them. I just wish we could have claws with shields. Then it would just be sick on the damage.
