After lurking the boards for a year now, I decided that I needed the advice of my fellow peers with my build .

I would like to know the approximate cost of the build, the effectiveness, and if there is any way to make it better/cheaper (don't feel afraid to post your own build for comparison).

(EDIT: The Follow-Up slotting is messed up. I am not sure on what to slot it with, so advice on that would be appreciated.)

For Follow Up I'd go with something like 5 Crushing Impact and either a Dam/Rech from another melee set or an End/Rech out of one of the To Hit Buff sets. You want to use Follow Up as often as possible to buff yourself. Therefore you want it to fire often and hit reliably. Since it's now part of your attack chain you want it to do as much damage as possible. I'd be looking at moving a slot off CJ and SJ to get Follow Up to 6 slots. I suspect needing only 2 of the Zephyr sets (dropping the -kb) will make it considerable cheaper to aquire as well.

Tweak Tough to include the Steadfast resist/+3% def (there goes the influence you saved ). Maybe move a slot from Tough to Health and grab the Numina unique and use Tough merely for holding the Steadfast.

Put sets of some sort (either GotA or LotG) in your auto defenses.

That would be where I'd start anyway.

I made a few changes. Your recovery went down a little bit, but so did your end usage.

Your melee and AoE defense were both at 49, which IMO, is overkill. So I traded some stuff around and got you an additional 10% recharge.

I changed the slotting in follow up to add more recharge and damage. I'm not a claws player, so I could be wrong on the slotting. But from what I've gathered reading threads, that is what you want.

First, I meant to post a modified build last night. I must have forgot. But it worked out, I actually liked what you did better than what I did. I took your second build and modified it a little more.

I put the sixth Obliteration back into eviscerate for the melee bonus. That allowed me to slot five Crushing Impacts in Slash for the recharge bonus.

Practiced Brawler is actually gonna be perma for you with the base slot, so I took it away. I also took away the extra slots in combat jumping since your Ranged defense was already high enough. I stuck one Defense IO in there.

I added some more slots to health for the extra hit points and regen. Since you don't have Aid Self I feel you're gonna want them.

For the Dodge, Agile, and Lucky I replaced the def/end IO with the Gift of the Ancients Def/run speed. The end reduction doesn't do you any good in auto powers and the run speed IO is fun to have IMO.

I'm not sure what your budget is like, but if money is no problem then I suggest sticking a Luck of the Gambler 7.5% recharge IO into you four defensive toggles and Combat Jumping.

That build looks pretty solid. I have a nest of about 200 million. I'll make more money if needed.

Yep the last two builds look quite solid. Things I'd still be looking at are Slash, I'd want a 6th slot to place an Achilles -resist proc. And Hasten where it is and with the slotting feels a bit like an afterthought. I'd want to try and move it earlier in the build and get it 3 slotted or consider something else altogether at 49th

Yeah, I was thinking about getting hasten earlier, but with how tight SR builds are, it was almost impossible to fit it in earlier. Not sure what other powers would be nice to have at 49.
