Role-Player Seeking Super Group

Hello everyone,

I've mostly played on Villain side for the longest time, so I have no idea what the hero side is like, though i've decided that it's time for a change of pace. In that, i'm going to be rolling several of my toons over in Paragon and see what the community over on Hero side has to offer.

Being someone that hates soloing, however, and being on my own, i'm looking for a SG that might offer some of the following. This is just to get an idea, though if something does catch my eye, I will hopefully get in touch with you in game.

1.) Role-play: Alright, i'm what you would consider a "hardcore" role-player. That means that I will role-play as often as I can. However, i'm not the kind of person who takes it so seriously that if my character is slighted that i'm going to fly off the handle. To me, Role-play is fun, a quid-pro-quo (Probably butchered that spelling) of interaction between individuals and a sharing of fiction. I've been doing it forever and a day, and i'm hoping that I can get the new concept that i've got rolling around in my head involved with a few stories.

If the SG has stories that are open and everyone can participate in? Great. If the stories are infrequent? Doesn't bother me, so long as the interaction (SG Chat, random interaction in the base) is frequent .

2.) Helpful: I know that this is a pretty loaded word, but I love to share time with other people. I'm hoping that I can find a group that are willing to share feedback on Arcs that are made, and then ask for feedback on their story arcs. People that want to run missions that are more than farms, and participate in the content that the developers have put before us, and people that not only share in role-play interaction, but love to go and mission with their fellow SG members.

3.) Drama free: I can't stand it. I've been playing these games for near a decade now, and while I know that it's impossible to escape it entirely, but i'm hoping to join a group that has a firm handle on it, both IC and OOC. That means that: stories that have some drama in them are alright, but drama for the sake of drama isn't alright in my book, and being i'm taking quite a full load of classes and doing contract work, I want to log in to relax!

4.) Casual: Pretty self explanatory. I'm a fairly laid back guy, and I will choose power sets that fit my characters, even if they might not be the "Best". I want to hang around with a group of people that understand that and want to participate despite build, and will give chances to those that are still learning the rungs of the game on hero side, having only really played villains.

Here are the characters that I'm going to be creating on hero side to give them a try

1.) Andy Scott: A man with simple tastes and simple expectations in life who recently had a bad run-in with a legendary creature. His desire to help someone who seemed in trouble left him with a bite wound that would change his life forever.

2.) Lance Kalil: An Ex-Crey employee that was in the wrong place at the wrong time ended up taking on a great and powerful burden that he still tries to live with to this day. While similar to Andy in a sense of "heritage", it is different in expression and context, and his drives to bring an end to Crey for what they did are never-ending. Deep down, though, he's a light-hearted guy that has a slightly foul mouth, and is a little brash in his attitude. If he thinks something needs to be said or done? He will say it or do it.

3.) Rihdan "Moongazer": He and his brother once owned a shop in Kings Row not that long before the Council targetted them both in a rather sinister experiment. The details of said experiment, however, are confidential.

4.) "Ebon Steel": Edward Steele, Once a worker for part of the weapons division of Crey, he developed a terminal cancerous illness due to testing one of their new biological compounds. Using his technological know-how, however, he built a suit that bombards him with the necessary radiation to keep his body from being eaten alive by the cancer. To mask the fact that he used stolen technology to build this suit, he uses the suit's AI, code-name "ED" to give the facade that he is nothing more than a robot.

Thank you for your time in reading this post, and i'm looking forward to meeting you all in game .

While we're currently not recruiting, you may want to give www.dauntlessreverie.com a quick peruse; we came to the end of our recruitment month in April, and usually do recruitment drives every other month/every couple of months. If you're still looking by that point, feel free to drop us an application then! And of course, in the meantime feel free to get in touch with us in any way you prefer if you have questions.

The Elysienne; Magical controller
Silent Sickle; Natural scrapper
And many more.
Aenigma Rebis: "Actually, Ely's more like Jean Grey. Only... smart."
