I recently finished spec-ing this this thing out. It's used mostly for teaming though. Switching to Electric for Thunder Strike, Charged Armor, and Power Sink was a thought, but Power Build Up is just amazing sometimes. PBU+EM Pulse+BU+Dreadful in particular.

I can't comment on the slotting, since I'm hardly an IO expert and my own Rad/Sonic has very few sets. However, might I suggest considering Darkness Mastery? If you're like me, you're close to, if not in, melee much of the time to keep aggroed mobs clustered on your anchor, maximize Howl's cone, heal those in and close to melee with Radiant Aura, and make maximum use of EM Pulse and Dreadful Wail. If so, Darkness Mastery is a great APP. Oppressive Gloom will keep enemies around you stunned and drunk, which you can stack with Screech to mez bosses (though, admittedly, I don't have Screech) and the damage you take is negligible unless you're using it on gray cons, and even then you can heal yourself every ten seconds or so and stay topped off. Dark Consumption will top off your endurance quite nicely and the armor, Dark Embrace, is quite powerful. The real gem, however, is Soul Drain. Toss in Aim and your debuffs and your damage can reach scary levels, sometimes Blaster levels with Soul Drain saturated enough and the target debuffed enough. With your debuffs thrown in, Aim + Soul Drain + Dreadful Wail is sick and much more powerful than PBU + Aim + Dreadful. On the downside, you do loose the additional buff/debuff/heal from Power Build Up and, again, it's a rather melee centric APP. So, if you prefer distance, it won't be for you.

Yeah, I don't really plan on using Screech. Having a near perma Soul Drain would be nice, but Dark Embrace and Consumption don't really impress me. I don't find Negative Energy among enemies who aren't Council and Perma AM covers the endurance.
